Chapter 14: Tainted Grounds
POV: Kai Alistair
"What's wrong?" Sierra had bumped right into me. I could tell something was wrong. The distraught look in her eyes said it all.
Silence is all I get from her. Her bottom lip trembles as if she's afraid to speak. What has happened to her to cause her to be like this?
