Julie kissed her hand while Fiona and Bodhi laughed. "You are crazy," Bodhi said.
"I know that," Julie said lifting her vodka shot. She drank the whole thing in one go before sucking on the lemon slice.
"You didn't attend any parties last week?" Fiona asked.
"I did but only a few. Was busy finishing the rest of the assignments," Julie said.
"Julie, when did you come?" Julie turned around to see Sahil and Eddie.
"Hey, Fiona. Hey Bodhi. How are you guys?" Eddie asked while Julie stood up to hug Sahil.
"Wow, man. Where have you been? I didn't see you all these days," Julie said hugging Sahil tightly.
"Haha, missed me all these days?" Sahil asked.
"We are good, brother. How are you and where were you?" Bodhi asked hugging Eddie.
"I'm good, brother. Was sick and just returned back to hostel last week," Eddie said. When Bodhi is done Fiona hugged Eddie.
"Hey Eddie, how are you?" Julie said hugging Eddie.
"Hi, Julie. I'm good and you?" Eddie asked Julie.
"I'm good as you see," Julie replied. Julie turned to Sahil and raised her brow.
"Where were you all these days?"
"Went back home for two months, returned last week when Eddie was returning," Sahil said.
"You went back home why?" Julie asked.
"Back to back weddings then had to stay back home for mum. Now returned as I don't wanna miss my college life," Sahil said.
"Aren't engineering students busy with their semesters?" Julie asked sarcastically.
Sahil rolled his eyes, "you know me," Sahil said wrapping his arm around Julie's shoulder.
Julie and Sahil met because of the dance club, they were interested in dance and joined the dance club. They became dance partners and won a lot of awards in their first and second years before they had to change their partners as per the rules of the club.
"But I texted you a few times on i********:, didn't get any reply," Sahil said.
"I'm not using the i********: message box. there are a lot of chats and messages that I get every day and it's hard to read the messages. Text me on w******p or normal message, you have my number," Julie said.
"Sure, I will remember that," Sahil replied.
They spoke for a while before they hit the dance floor with their friends. Julie laughed out loud listening to Sahil. Sahil is from Pakistan, shifted to New York for his higher education.
"Bottoms up," Sahil said picking his glass.
They are high on alcohol and started tripping but yet they wanna have some drinks in their system. Julie chuckled when she saw Sahil's drunken smile.
"What the f**k is happening brother? I haven't seen you consume this much alcohol before," Julie said keeping her glass away as she can feel the alcohol doing its work on her.
"I-I just wanna get drunk, so much," Sahil replied opening his arms.
"Did something happen?" Julie asked. Sahil shook his head.
"Not tonight, I will tell you later, just take care of drunken ass," Sahil said picking another red glass.
Eddie shook his head keeping his glass away. "I will take care of him, you guys drink," Eddie said.
Greyson picked his plate and wandered to the dining area. He took his seat beside Myles.
"Who is cooking next week?" Myles asked.
"Kayden, Rhett, Daman and Logan," Brooks replied.
Ace wandered into the dining area with his plate. "Someone left their plate on the island?" Ace asked sitting beside Daman.
"It's Carl's, he went to use the washroom," Zeke replied. Ace nodded his head.
"Brother Ace, we are going to do the late-night practice and will wake up late in the morning," Grant said.
"Everyone is staying up late?" Ace asked.
"Yes, everyone is staying up," Daman replied.
"Okay but don't stay up late for too long," Ace said.
"Yup."
"Okay."
"Okay."

Ace removed his jacket, t-shirt and pants as he went into his closet. He threw the clothes in the laundry basket before pulling out the black joggers.
He wore them, went back to his bedroom. He fell on his back and stared at the ceiling. Julie crossed his mind, she texted him last night and they chatted for a while before she went to sleep.
He pulled his phone and opened Julie's message box.
'Hey, wassup?' He sent the text and waited for her reply.
Julie hugged Bodhi as he dropped her at the dormitory. "You sure you wanna sleep alone? You can stay at our place," Bodhi said.
"It's fine, I can sleep alone," Julie when her phone vibrated in her jean pocket. She didn't check the message as she needs to go and pee first.
"Bye then, I need to go before Fiona does something in the car," Bodhi joked. Julie chuckled nodding her head. Bodhi left and Julie opened her dorm door.
She didn't drink so much as she needs to reach the dormitory. For some reason, she didn't want to get wasted on alcohol.
She threw her phone on the bed before wandering into the bathroom. She unbuttoned her jeans and sat on the toilet seat as she thought of what happened yesterday.
"How can that old hag reject mine and select Jessicas? Why to be unfair with students just because you don't like the kid," Julie muttered.
Julie wasn't upset but when she saw Jessica's work and the reason why Ms Goodlings didn't select Julie's work hurt Julie's feelings.
She overheard Ms Goodlings having a conversation with Mr Hankings. As an artist, their work is their pride. Julie worked so hard on her assignment just because Ms Goodlings doesn't like Julie, she rejected Julie's work.
Julie flushed before wandering back to her bed. She removed her jacket threw it on the table before falling on her stomach.
She picked her phone to check the message that she received a while ago. A smile came onto her face when she read the name.
She called the number instead of texting him. Ace looked at his phone as it started ringing. He answered it when he saw the caller id.
"Hey," he said.
"Hi, didn't sleep?" Julie asked sitting up straight. She put the call on the speaker to remove her shoes.
"Nope, and you?"
"I just returned from a party."
"Enjoyed?"
"You can say that, I met a friend after so many days. Had a good time, danced a lot and spoke a lot before returning back to the dormitory."
"Who dropped you at the dormitory?"
"Bodhi."
"Oh okay."
"Actually I didn't get wasted this time, whatever I drank I don't feel it in my body right now," Julie said.
"Haha, so you had a good time?"
"Yup, what about you? How was your day?" Julie asked.
"Hmm, it was good and the same."
"We should definitely go clubbing one night," Julie said and Ace chuckled.
"I'm too old for that," Ace replied. Julie rolled her eyes picking the phone and laying down properly.
"Haha, no one is too old to have fun and there is no age limit when it comes to clubbing. You are not too old!" Julie said.
"I don't know, clubbing isn't my thing," Ace said turning on his side.
"That we will decide after we come back from a club. You are my friend and we are going to a club soon," Julie said confidently.
"Let's see."
"We are going, I'm going to pull you with me." Ace chuckled hearing that.
Julie smiled hearing his chuckle. They don't know what is happening in between them but they are happy with whatever is happening in between them.
"How did your professor react to your charcoal assignment?" Ace asked. He was going to ask her last night but he forgot to ask her.
"She was surprised and told me that I improved. I got 10 points," Julie said.
"Did she select your work for that art exhibition you told me about?" Ace asked.
"You believe that my work would get selected for the exhibition?" Julie asked.
"Of course, you may not master the charcoal art but your assignment was pretty high and perfect. The concept was different and personal that is very important," Ace said truthfully.
He loved Julie's work, he was surprised to see her work. She told him that she is bad at charcoal art but Ace thinks she isn't bad at charcoal art. She needs a bit of practice and familiarity with charcoal art.
"Feels good hearing that but Ms Goodlings didn't select my work. She selected some other student's," Julie said.
Ace's brows frowned in confusion. "But don't worry, I'm happy though. I don't have to give my art to the art department. I want to keep this work with myself," Julie spoke.
The conversation went on for hours before Julie and Ace both fell asleep while on the call. They laughed, smiled, argued and listened to each other sayings.
