Greyson's sister

930 Words
Tessa pulled the blanket away as she searched for her phone. When she found her phone, she quickly pushed it into her pant pockets and picked up her bag from the floor. She turned her head and looked at Julie's bed, Julie is sleeping on her stomach facing the other side. Tessa smiled before leaving the room silently.  The weekend is here, the students are lazily laying on their beds while some left for their early morning shifts. Tessa is one of them. Julie rolled over when her phone started ringing. Julie gulped down the lump that formed in her mouth as she lazily searched for her vibrating phone. When she found the phone, she answered it without looking at the ID. "Hello?" "Julie, did you wake up?" she heard Fiona's voice. "No, darling." "Are you planning to go to the art gallery or you wanna join us?" "Join us? Where you guys are going?" "Bodhi, Oslo, Rio, Ada, Silas, Henry and I are going to the movies in the afternoon." "Hmm, no. I'm good and I will go to the art gallery." "Cool sister." "What is the time?" "Nineish..." "End the call, let me sleep." "When you will be leaving then?" "Around one." "End the call bitch..." "Fine... Fine... Ma'am..." Fiona ended the call, Julie left the phone and pulled the blanket higher. She didn't sleep the whole night as she worked on her assignment.  Ace crossed his arms as he looked at the screen. "Zeke, to your right. Move quick," Ace said in his serious tone. Carl smirked looking at the screen. He fighting against his best friend Zeke. They are having a match between team Alkananda and team Bhagirathi. Carl and Daman shared a look before nodding their heads. Zeke frowned sending a quick blow to Carl. Carl raised his brow at Zeke before letting his avatar stand up. Ace woke the boys early in the morning for training as the boys will be having a movie night later. Ace doesn't want them to miss the practice. "Myles, concentrate on your weapon." "Yes, brother Ace." Ace guided and made notes on the boy's performance. It went on for three hours before he told them to stop for lunch. "Have your lunch and get back to your computers. I will check your result, one game and you all are done for the day," Ace said picking his book. "Yes, brother Ace." "Okey... Dokey..."  "Okay, brother Ace." "Brother Ace, you are joining us for movie night right?" Kayden asked. "Yeah, brother Ace. Are you joining us?" Daman asked. Ace blinked his eyes, he doesn't know if he is going to be there or not. Julie's words are still ringing in his mind. "I will see," Ace said. "Okay." "Okay." The boys left to have their lunch while Ace went to his private floor, to his room. He hummed closing the door and removing his t-shirt.  He wandered towards his bedroom shirtless. He placed the book on the table before falling on his back on the bed. He looked at the ceiling as Julie's face played in his mind. "Hmm, I know this is very sudden but are free tomorrow?' "I'm not asking you out on a date. I'm going to this art gallery tomorrow. Felt like asking you, if you are free you join me." Ace closed his eyes as Julie's voice kept playing. "Should I go?" "Or should I stay back?" "What will she think if I call her and tell her that I wanna join her?" "Should I call her?" "Ugh, why is it so hard to make a decision?" Ace asked himself turning on his side pushing his head into the bedsheets. After ten minutes of discussing with his mind, he pulled his phone out and searched Julie's number. He remembers having her number with him. When they were at the LA airport, Greyson shared Julie's number to find her. He saved her number as Greyson's sister.  When he found the number, he stared at the screen for a full minute before dialling the number. He licked his lower lip before rolling it inside his mouth. A habit that he does whenever he is feeling overwhelmed with emotions. Julie sang the song as she is searching for her shorts when her phone started ringing. She picked the phone and looked at the screen as she stared at the unknown number. She answered the call, "Hello?" A heavy sign left Ace's mouth as he heard Julie's voice.  Julie frowned her brows when she didn't hear anyone. "Hello?" Julie said. Julie was about to end the call when she heard the voice. "Hey Julie, I'm Ace." Julie made a surprised face as a smile started playing on her face. "Hey, Ace. Wassup?" she asked keeping the phone on speaker. She placed the speaker on the floor and went to search for her shorts. "Nothing much, what are you doing?" Ace asked. "Nothing." "Hmm, I called you to ask if I can join you for the art gallery. I don't have anything to do right now and I'm free," Ace spoke. Julie chuckled shaking her head. "Sure, I'm going to start by one. You can join me." "I will pick you near the dormitory gates," Ace said. "Okay, see ya then. Call me when you reach," Julie said. "Okay." Julie ended the call, smiled weirdly looking at the clothes. Ace stared at the ceiling as a small smile started playing on his face. After so long he feels like he is living the life he wanted to live.
