Samuel looked at the phone screen as he got a phone call. He looked at Ruth, Kaleb, Antonio and Preston who are sitting before him.
"Are you not going to answer the call?" Preston asked as Samuel didn't answer the call.
"I'm going to answer the call," Samuel said answering the call.
"Cool for you," Preston said leaning back. They are in waiting room four waiting for their flight.
"Hello?" Samuel said.
"Come to the check-in area. I'm not feeling good," Ace said.
Ace has made it to the check-in area where it isn't that crowded.
Samuel tensed hearing that. "I will be there," Samuel said.
Diego turned his head and looked at Samuel whose facial expression has changed after hearing the other side.
Samuel ended the call. "I will just come in an hour," Samuel said looking at everyone.
"You going somewhere?" Ruth asked.
"Yes."
"Where? Outside?"
"I will be back," Samuel said ignoring the question.
"Who do you think called him?" Kaleb asked Antonio.
"How do I know. Must be the other manager," Antonio replied.
"Anyway let's go and have a coffee," Preston said.
"Yeah, it's getting cold anyway. Ruth wanna join?" Kaleb asked getting up.
Ace closed his eyes and started counting the numbers. The bustle of the airport isn't helping him either.
All he could think and see is the face that he wanted to forget about.
Samuel rushed towards the check-in area that is on the other side of where he was sitting with Jaggers.
He just hopes that Ace is safe and nothing serious happened to him.
"But what were you doing in Los Angeles?" Greyson asked Julie.
"I just needed a break from everything and there is this festival that's happening that I seriously wanted to attend. I know mum and dad wouldn't agree to it so I just ended up here with my friends," Julie explained.
"And I'm safe, I didn't do anything nor did anything happen to me. I was in my limits, Grey," she added.
Greyson didn't know what to say looking at his sister's face. He knew he can't say a word.
"Okay, fine but from next time don't dare to go somewhere without telling me. Just inform me, I will not inform mum or dad. Keep me updating if you are somewhere."
Julie smiled brightly when her tension vanished. "Thank you, Grey!"
"I love you so much!" She added hugging him.
Grayson hugged her back and patted her back before pulling away.
"Did you eat something?" Greyson asked.
"Nope, was so scared that didn't feel like eating anything," Julie replied.
"Let's go and have something. Call your friends if you want."
"That's fine, let's eat together," Julie replied.
"Okay."
Julie pulled her phone out to text her friends.
'All cool, having dinner with him. See you guys soon.'
"What do you wanna have?" Greyson asked Julie. She is quite small compared to his height, only reaching his shoulder.
"Red sauce pasta, babe," Julie replied placing her hand on his back. She gave a slight pat before pulling it away.
"Ever tried some other thing other than red sauce pasta?" Greyson questioned.
"Yup, many times but nothing beats the red sauce pasta," Julie said.
"You and your red sauce pasta."
"Shut up."
Greyson and Julie went to the wool cafe that is on the second floor of the airport.
Greyson knew that the boys are in the Nescafe cafeteria on the ground floor.
He doesn't have any problem with them meeting his sister but he doesn't want them to meet her right now.
"Thank god, they have chairs available to sit," Julie said looking at the empty table and chair.
"Yup."
Greyson took his seat placing his phone on the table. He looked right and made eye contact with an auburn-haired girl.
The girl looked away and he looked away too.
"It's self-service. Go through the menu and tell me what you need,"
"Red sauce pasta and cappuccino," Julie said without looking at the menu.
"Okay."
Greyson stood up from his seat and wandered over to the desk to order the food.
"Good evening, sir. Ready to order?" The person asked.
"Yeah, two red sauce pasta and two cappuccino," Greyson said without looking at the menu.
"Two red sauce pasta and two cappuccino? That's it?" The person said typing it on the keyboard.
"Yes."
"That will be..."
Greyson paid the bill and took the receipt. "Your number will be displayed on the screen when your order is ready," the person said.
"Okay."
Greyson turned around and started walking towards the table. He took his seat and pushed his hood back.
"Why did you come to LA for vacation?" Greyson asked his sister.
Julie looked at him, "there was this international music festival happening. Last year when I tried attending the music festival, mum and dad didn't give permission. I didn't want to miss this time so yeah... Here I'm," Julie said.
"So you don't know that I was here?" Greyson asked.
Julie shook her head, "I thought your tournament is happening in New York. Nor I check your tournament schedule."
"The semi-finals are happening in New York."
"Finals?"
"New York."
"Cool, I will be attending both days."
"You don't have any classes?" Greyson asked.
"I have but it's fine. Semester beginning so I can skip classes," Julie said.
"How is everything going on with your friends and at college?" Greyson asked.
"It's going good, don't worry. Noone is troubling me."
Greyson almost rolled his eyes. "You don't trouble anyone and don't let your warden call dad or mum."
"Haha, not funny. I don't trouble anyone nor I troubled anyone," Julie said.
Greyson raised his brow hearing that before shifting his gaze to the display to see if their number came or not.
"Yeah... Yeah... That's the reason mum has to pay a visit to your university to talk with your processor last month right?" Greyson said with sarcasm lacing.
"Don't use sarcasm on me."
"I'm not."
"You are."
Greyson didn't say anything, he stood up from the chair to get their food.
Julie pushed her hair back, tapped her fingers on the table as she waited for Greyson to come.
