Hunter and hunted

"Stay in the trees until they pass" she thought to herself over and and over to herself, playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with some farrel rouge werewolves. Just as the last of these beasts pass a branch breaks from under this she-wolf and she falls, crashing to the ground with a giant thud. The rouges turn grinning disgusting smiles, "aww you thought you could hide like a scared pup?" One of the rouge said with an undesirable laugh She replied with a snarky "oh? I was just waiting for the big bad wolf to leave so I could go to grandmother's house" She spits at him. Obviously this rather large man wasn't used to the disrespect she was showing. He smacks the one to his right on their back and the smaller man runs at her, just as he gets to her she jumps over him and kicks him in the back of his head. He falls to the ground, sliding eight feet away, she's on the smaller side compared to the others in her pack but she's quick and strong. The only one faster and stronger than her is alpha Zachary. The rouge gets back up and rushes her from behind. She turns and scorpion kicks him connecting with the bridge of his nose breaking it. He moves back as two more wolves come after her he then rushes her again, she turns and jumps and watches the three of them collide, she can see their leader getting angry, she pulls out a small silver blade, a grin spreads across her face as worry comes across his. She moves next to the three injured wolves and stabs them in the heart and slits their throats killing them almost instantly. She looks up and the other rouges are gone. She wipes off the blade on one of the fallen enemie's shirts and starts to walk home. As she leaves the forested area she was just in she gets a chill that shocks her whole body. "Oh Amanda, what are you worried about now" whispered a voice in her mind. A confusing look spreads over her face. "Who...who or what are you?" " Are you my wolf?" She questions the voice. "Yes sweetheart, My name is Jade, I have been waiting to reach you, for some reason I couldn't, I believe that fight you just had broke down your last barrier." "Oh my Goddess, I need to tell Zachary, I can finally take my place as beta." Amanda squeeled in excitement. Amanda stopped in her tracks " does this mean we can shift?" She asked with a grin. "With a sad heart I must tell you no, not until you find your mate. "Time to wake up sweetheart and Happy Birthday." a light and airy voice stirs her. She slowly opens her eyes stretching, "seventeen, I can't believe it." For some reason I had only been able to speak with Jade after the fight with the rouges, hmmm I have always wondered why I hadn't been able to speak with her, was there something wrong with me?" Amanda rolls out of bed, goes and grabs a shower, when she comes out she notices a slender looking dress on her now made bed. "Ugh, not again" with a salty look on her face, she goes and opens the door with her towel wrapped around her and her hair, "I said I'm not wearing a dress!" Then she slams the door, walks to her wardrobe and picks out medium shorts and a t-shirt, she puts her flip flops on and heads down stairs. The kitchen is a medium sized room with everything a kitchen usually has. As she walks into the kitchen she sees everyone, alpha Zachary and his mate Luna Danni, the Gamma Michelle and her mate Terese, the Alpha and Gamma's little brother Reggie, and his mate who is like a sister to Amanda, Bethany all sitting around the island by the serving area the colors are an indescribable white and light blue contrast playing off of each other with all the apliences bapliences " Bethany, I told you I'm not wearing a dress, I don't like them, and would appreciate it if you'd stop trying to get me to wear them." With a pouting face Bethany continues to eat. "Is she still not speaking?" Asks Jade in the back of my mind, I reply with a quick "no" Jade knows how annoyed I get when people try to get me to be a proper Lady especially with my rank in the pack. Zachary snorted making coffee come out of his nose landing on his now empty plate. I glare at him but he just keeps laughing, which calms my annoyance and I grin. "You realize that you are going to have to wear the dress tonight right?" Luna Danni stated with a smile on her face. Jade decided to get in on the action "you can either wear the dress or go naked to your party" she teased. I reply to Jade "well... naked it is." As I chuckle. Flustered Jade responds "oh don't you dare" I laugh and get a weird look from Bethany, this is the usual fun bickering that goes on between us.
