Alisson POV
I watch as my mate is hugged by his girlfriend, who has unfortunately returned from her trip. I stood there with my breath stuck in my throat because this was not something I had expected after returning from one whole month bliss with my mate. the mate who had decided to give our relation a chance.
It looks like even Connor was shocked for a moment and did not return her over enthusiastic hug. He stood immobilised for few stretch moments. Aliza does not mind it as she was busy in her own world.
“How are you baby?” she asks moving back and looking at him. Her eyes were showing her happiness, for someone who is not even hers for that matter.
