Beast Boy's room went from a messy hazard to one's health, to an actual livable bedroom. His training became more ruthless, the animals he turned into more savage and wild. His moppy green hair was pushed back with a cut in long strokes and some of the sides showing off his ears. 

His body seemed to go through it's final transformation from boy to man overnight. 

His body ripped, his voice deepening. 

Beast Boy became Beast Man soon enough. 

But with all the changes Beast Boy made the Beast Boy the team all knew and loved left them. He no longer humored Starfire with her Alien traditions, he didn't play video games with Cyborg, and he didn't even look Raven's way. He only talked missions with Robin and kept to himself more than before. 

And they all felt the distance. None more than Raven. 

The empty void of where he once was, felt like an empty place within herself. Raven hated herself for being the cause of this change in Beast Boy, this weird unknown ache in herself. Because of her, Robin had yelled at Beast Boy making him turn into someone that wasn't HER Beast Boy, and she didn't know how to fix it. She didn't know how to make it better. 

All she knew was that she missed the green boy who tried to make her laugh. 

Beast Boy was currently pounding a bag like it was his mortal enemy. Sweat went down his green body as he kept throwing out combos. When his music was stopped, Beast Boy huffed and looked at Cyborg. "Yeah?" he grumbled as he grabbed a towel and began cleaning his face. 

Cyborg looked his little brother over concerned, "You good B?" Beast Boy shrugged with a blank, unattached look on his face, "Yeah, I'm fine." Cyborg sighed not accepting that, "Come on brow don't act like this. It's ME." Beast Boy rolled his eyes, "I don't know what you mean Cy." Cyborg looked down and then shrugged a little, "It just feels like your not you anymore. You've changed." Beast Boy shrugged again, "That's what you all wanted ain't it?" 

Before Cyborg could say no the alarm went off. Beast Boy turned into a hawk and flew to the common room seeing the enemy large on the screen, Beast Boy scoffed in disgust, "This prick again?" He sneered looking at Control Freak. 

Robin sent Beast Boy a shocked looked, "Language!" Beast Boy laughed mockingly, "Why for the invisible five-year-old in the room?" Before Robin could get into Beast Boy, Cyborg boomed, "We need to go!" Robin nodded and the team geared up before heading to the garage. Beast Boy flew, Starfire jumped on Robin's bike with him, and Cyborg and Raven went in the T car. 

When they got to downtown Jump City, Control Freak had, of course, brought to life fire hydrants, a couple of tv martial art ninjas from a tv show that had been playing on a tv store display. "Well if it isn't my arch-nemesis. The Teen Titans!" Beast Boy looked the fat man over and stoically sneered, "Don't you have something more important to do. Like, die of type two diabetes or something?" 

Control Freak scowled as he held up his large remote, "Time for the show to start Titans. And it's Rated V for violence!" When he hit the button, Robin yelled, "Titans Go!" 

As Starfire and Raven made work of the fire hydrants going after people, Robin charged Control freak only to be knocked back by the ninjas guarding him. Cyborg went to aid Robin but Control Freak bounced on his pudgy legs to the library as the two began to take his ninja guards down. "Oh looky here Titans, it seems Ferdinand has come to life!" 

A woman screamed as the fat bastard pointed his remote at a children's movie bringing the bull to the real world. 

The Bull came charging out hitting Starfire knocking her out and started huffing as it glared at Raven. But before it could charge Beast Boy became a bigger meaner looking green bull and ran at it. Sending the bull flying with a powerful head but, Beast Boy turned to a pale looking Control Freak.

Jumping mid morph before he could turn anything else into a weapon, Beast Boy pinned Control Freak under his large paw as a tiger. With a nasty chuckle, the fat freak cackled, "Come on Beast Boy you know it was all in good fun. Like a harmless crush." Beast Boy snatched the remote making Control Freak yelp like a little b***h and crushed it in between his teeth. 

The fire hydrants and numerous animated tv characters running rampant went back to and evaporated like they were never there. Beast Boy shifted back and as the cops arrested Control Freak he stayed to the side as the team was thanked and surrounded by admirers. 

Cyborg noticed Beast Boy off to himself, he started to call him over when a female approached Beast Boy nervously, "Um...can I have your autograph?" Beast Boy signed the teenage girls bag and smiled when she shyly whispered, "Greens my favorite color and so are you." She kissed his cheek blushing and ran off making his day just a tad bit better. 

And for the first time in a long time Cyborg saw the young man his brother had been before. And idly wondered if he'd ever see him again.
