"He chickened out, right?" A woman walked in, laughing. She wore a tight fitting golden brown short gown which slit goes up to her waistline. Her dark long hair danced round her body as she trotted down the stairs. A deep scar could be seen from the corner of her eye down to her jaw. "You didn't put on your mask today? That's weird." A man, Simon said, his gaze fixed on the computers before him. "I asked a question first." "Alright. He really did and I could see how daring his eyes were, though his reactions betrayed them. He will eventually do our bidding. Evelyn is on the latch, so we don't have anything to worry about now." "I shouldn't be worried about him but I am. I will take this up myself. Have you located where Geena stays? I need her on an assignment." He looked away from the computer. "Olivia, I expected you to go after Elizabeth and not the son. Ronald mustn't find out that you are behind this. You sent his father to his deathbed." Olivia took out a cigarette. Her eyes darkened as she lights it. Could she really let go and act like nothing happened? TWELVE YEARS AGO... "What do you mean by you can't get married to me? I met you before Elizabeth did! She got you wrapped in her hands all this while and this is all you have to tell me?!" Olivia yelled. Mr Grey sat up. "Woman, will you stop the noise and listen to me? You're at my company and you have to respect that." "You didn't say this when you had something to do with me!" "Olivia, watch yourself. I am married to your sister. You should know what this is all about. We can't keep doing this. You drugged me and I will never forgive you for that. " "Don, don't play with me. Don't make me do what I had had in mind all this while. I will deal with you. I will deal with Elizabeth and I will tear your sons apart if you don't get married to me." "I can see how delusional you've been. You can get out now or I will have my boys kick you out." He pressed the intercom. Three hefty men appeared at the door. "Don, I will deal with you." She picked up her bag and stormed out. PRESENT DAY.... "It's been twelve years. Shouldn't you back out already?" Simon asked. She stood up in a sudden, took out a gun from her bag and c****d it at him. "I think you've heard too much to decide for me now, right?" Simon stared at her. His eyes fixed on her now, he gave a smirk. He tore off his gaze from her and turned to the computers. "It's been twelve years and your brain is still reacting indefinitely to what I said. You need to work on that, Olivia or else you want the boss to cut that connection off your brain by himself." "And who are you to speak to me this way? I own your boss. Don't make me repeat that all this while." "Olivia, he is just being concerned about you." A man with a T shirt and a short on walked in. In his fifties, he had exercised his body so heavily in his twenties that made him look youthful still. Olivia dropped the gun and threw herself at him. "Big boss" Simon saluted and smiled. "You should teach him not to speak to me that way or else I will kill him the next time he says that." The man laughed. "Just what he was training you for. We don't react by our opponent's words. We observe before reacting. You should learn that or else you want to fail in this operation." "Alright. But you still need to talk to him." "Any update on what I asked for, Simon?" He clicked on a button and Ronald's picture walking in with Miah appeared. "This is it here, Boss. I am sure Ronald hasn't gotten a wind of what happened with Aurora in the mansion. " Anderson shut his eyes as Olivia's hands kneaded the bald part of his head. "You are clearly enjoying my hand's balm, right?" "Let me attend to business first," he took her lips in his. In a minute, his gaze was on the screen now. " You aren't sure because you don't know who you are dealing with yet. Get Patricia planted in. I need a daily update on that girl, Miah. She interests me." " Yes, Boss." Olivia rolled her eyes and took his lips in hers this time. "She interests you and not me?" Anderson gave a throaty laugh. "Don't start with me now. I have something to show you after our show now." Olivia looked away. "I am not interested." His lips was already on her collarbone and she could feel his breath on her ears. " Are you sure?" Her breath hitched and she stood up. " I am sure" She gave him a wink and raced up the stairs. He understood what she meant by that. This woman would be the death of him, no doubt. "Simon, notify me when Zen arrives. I need him at the gate. No excuses this time." "Sure, boss " He grinned. Miah flipped through the pages of the catalogue sent to her by her mother in law. Was it safe to call her that..now? A smile spread on her lips. Fate was indeed smiling at her...no doubt. A call came through. She picked it up to see it was Madam Geena. Why was she calling her? "May I know why you are calling me?" "Ohh, I see. With your evil eyes, you captured his daughter and now you've taken his mother and also him? What's all these about, Miah?" "Madam Geena, everyone knows that I respect you a whole lot and I will love it if you don't call me again. We probably have no business together, right?" "Miah, we do. Chief wants you for the night and you need to be here."
