I felt it, the very moment it happened. In less than a second, I felt the life bond between myself and both of my parents snap. First my mother, followed almost immediately by my father. It woke me from a light slumber, and I realized that there were 2 younger sisters of mine who probably felt that as well, and were too young to deal with the devastating loss. They were suddenly left scared and all alone in the world. But they didn’t have to be.
I immediately grabbed my robe to cover my nakedness, and ran all the way to the royal penthouse.
