Leo’s POV
“Dad! Dad!” Alex calls out excitedly, running into my office. I smile, glad to see my son returned, safe at home. “I’m back!”
“I can see that!” I say happily. Then when I don’t see his mother immediately behind him, or Giselle whom I would have expected Alex to arrive home with, I grow concerned very quickly. “Where is your mother?”
“Oh, Giselle and Matheus are taking her to the medical clinic,” Alex says, suddenly looking worried. “They say she’s going to be fine. But they told me to come see you, and to eat dinner. I’m starving!”
I notice my son is still just as naked as he was when he left, so I told him to go get dressed in his pajamas first, and then we’d go scrounge up something from the kitchens. Dinner service was done over an hour ago.
