Chapter 4

BENSON

Benson, being son of the leader of the Tara family, it was difficult for him to keep the secret from his friends. No one really knew about his parents and no one bothered. He used different routes going to college with his father. He reported every action that happened between his group after school. "Today you are to report anything stupid of your stupid gang, you are to follow Joe and see if he is returning home understood?" "Yes Dad replied Benson. "We have to begin our plot".

Benson went to school as instructed, Joe was not there so as Kuda and Molly. He finally so Meky and Thando. "Oh there you are I've been looking for you the whole day, where have you been?" The two boys replied, " we have been here and there, did U see Molly?" Asked Meki. They all looked down. Ben said "we have to visit them maybe something bad happened." Thando remembered his version when he touched Kuda and said "guys lets go now." "why can't you guys be optimistic about anything they are probably fine, and I have good news for you." "Shut up and follow!" said Ben. Hitting the road Thando asked with curiosity "hey guys did anything unusual happened to you lately. "Yes I turned into a wolf" quickly replied Ben. "When?" asked Meky. Ben replied "yesterday night and I told no one about this, please keep this a secret." Thando chipped in "no need to worry my friend, I also see versions and Meky is no longer stammering and he have a new ability." Ben stopped walking and he asked with eager to understand "Versions? You min you see the future, like a prophet or something" Thando started walking "That's what we have to find out." Ben looked at Meki "what is your new ability?" Meky did not reply he looked at Molly's door. With both hands in a circular motion he opened the door. Ben asked "Is this really happening?" The children laughed getting inside without knocking. They start calling "Molly! Molly! Any one home? Kuda! Kuda! There was no reply. They started to search the rooms. "Guys come up here!" Meky shouted. They both rushed to where molly was lying. They called an ambulance. Molly was carried into the ambulance by the paramedics and got driven to the hospital. Ben excused himself and went home.

There was a heavy scream coming out of the room where Molly was lying. The nurse nearby rushed in and saw Molly pointing a spider on the ceiling. The nurse grabbed a broom to hit the spider but the spider went into the air vents. "Don't be afraid the spider have gone. What happened to you? They said they found you lying on the floor. Molly started crying " The ADA killed my parents and took my brother." The nurse comforted her. She took her in her arms and even took her home. While this was happening Ben was sitting in his room with his legs crossed, hands opened and his eyes turned yellow. He got up from his bed unlocked his bedroom door and went to his Dad. "That's what my friends told me and no one had ever seen Joe from that day." His Dad smiled and said "Too easy. Did you tell anyone about your ability?" "No father, I told them I'm a werewolf." His father then asked "is that all you heard Molly saying in the hospital?" Ben nodded his head twice. His father placed his hard hand on Ben's head and said "You make me proud son." Come on up lets enjoy the dinner together.

JOE

Joe was seating in the ADA quarters for questioning. Looked both sides, up and down. He was never used to interrogation. He was shacking inside but outside he was a bold young man. Three serious faces preparing paperwork were in front of him seating over the desk. One of them was an ugly lady, the right person for an interrogation. She raised her head, looked directly in Joe's eyes. She asked; "How did you feel when fighting against your friend". Knowing he did nothing he had no exact answer to that question, but he didn't look down he answered. "It was quite a challenge ma'am". The woman was straight with her questions. She continued; "Did you fight?" It was difficult to lie because John had already reported in after battle. The woman saw Joe looking down. "Mr Marz you are aware that we lost one of our favourite lady warriors after you failed to fight." She stood up off her chair and demanded; I declare 72 hours of training for Johan! She start walking towards the door. "He will be allowed to leave the institution after my approval" she demanded again as she banged the door. Her name was Sofia. She was in charge of new recruits and held the second position of leadership in the institution. She was the most fearsome. The two men signed the papers and added a stamp on them. "You will be shown the battle field shortly." said one of the man. Joe was excused.

Months passed by the ADA thought everything was going away not knowing it was just the silence before the storm. In the city of Liu news about the werewolves penetrated into their minds. Werewolves were going rigid attacking every human being as their prey. Joe was sitting on the floor, very tired. For his part everything was going bad he failed to awaken my okape. And he haven't been allowed to go in field ever since. He spent his time training behind the walls. He was good at real fights without awakening of weapons. At least for Molly everything is going well and she is now a healer in some hospital. Than do, he heard he is living in another city. He wasn't allowed to communicate with outside people. He only told Benson at least that he was doing fine. He stood up towards the weaponry. Yes, he was allowed to train using everything inside the weaponry. He was wondering of few weapons that everyone did not use. They were inside an old treasure box. Even its lock was very old.

While Joe was still in the weaponry Sofia was watching from a distance through the glass. She was talking to the leader. She asked " why did you take this boy in?, he has no potential and can not awaken any okape". The leader smiled and replied "He is the son of two legends, that makes him special." With no words Sofia opened the door of the battle field, shortly he arrived to the weaponry. Sofia asked Joe "any good news for me?" Joe had nothing and shacked his head. With anger she turned around going back to other recruits but before she could flip over to the door Joe stopped her. Joe said "what's in the old box?". Sofia came close and replied, "it contains weapons such as we use. We have tried to see how they are awakened but no one could. Joe with eager and a little smile on her face asked politely " can I ?". Sofia replied, "did you really call me here to waste my time, its been over fifty years since they were last used. What makes you better than anyone else, even your poor father could not use them".

The leader was still standing outside watching through the glass. Sofia left the battle field and towards the leader she paid her respect leaving the room. Joe looked around in search of a weapon worth enough to break the box. "An axe will do", he grabbed it with one swing the old lock broke. Opened the box and coughed. It was too dusty inside and the weapons were still shining. He grabbed this and grabbed that all of them he wanted to see. He thought of stealing the okape. Packed everything back and closed the box. Stood up and went to the weaponry to pretend he grabbed the okapi from there. He had a voice "I've been waiting for you my star" he looked everywhere and could not see any one. Two soldiers of the institution came to the glass where the leader was. "Sir the meeting has began", one of them said. The leader raised his right arm. Give me few more minutes. He looked at them with a harsh voice he said "what are you still standing there for". And the men got out of his sight. Joe was picking up the okapi he dropped when he panicked. The okapi glowed a shining light that filled the whole room. Shining bright and beautiful the okapi awakens and the voice he heard before said "Its been so long since I awake, I see you are a little boy. What's your name my master?" the voice continued. Joe replied. "My name is Tseng". The light circulated him and Joe's eyes turned blue. "I'm done master, I'm part of you and you are part of me call me 'Tsenghan' any time you want me. Joe looked around if there is someone else hearing the voice. "No one is able to here me except you". The light and the voice disappeared. Joe placed the okapi in its pocket. On his way out he saw the leader standing at the glass alone. The leader looked at him and said "you keep it safe my boy". The leader left and went to the meeting.

THANDO

He was sitting looking at his bed for almost three minutes. He was looking at how beautiful his new outfit is. Thando said to himself " being the mayors advisor". He smiled, he then looked up to the ceiling for half a minute and there was a nock on his door. He opened it and saw a man very tall, two metres above the ground and very muscular. The man paid some respect and told Thando that he was called upon in the Mayor's chambers. Thando said "just a minute" as he closed the door. He wore his silver garment with gold ribbons at the end. It was made of silk and expensive. One of the thought that crossed his mind was of the limit of his versions. Thando ignored that thought as he walked through the passage escorted by two men. The doors were opened as he arrived and closed behind him. The two men did not enter they stayed outside. The room was very comfortable filled with the smell of roses, red sheets and two beautiful ladies massaging the mayor. The Mayor who was holding a glass of red wine from the bottle of 4th street looked at Thando and called him "come join me." Thando was just looking at those three people in the room. He did not respond but was still surprised to be near someone respected as the Mayor. The mayor saw the fear in the eyes of Thando and helped him relax "fill at home my friend, anything you want just spell it like, w-i-n-e ." Thando came near and the mayor poured some wine in an empty glass and asked Thando how long he was to take to get prepared. The Mayor started talking to Thando about his ancestors. "In this town we live in my friend was ruled by my great ancestors. I heard he was with a very special person like you who could foresee the future. That is why I need you, to rule with you. So when do we start my friend?" The mayor looked at Thando with a happy face. "I'm ready when you are" Thando replied smiling back to the mayor.

The Mayor cleared the room leaving only Thando and himself. He stretched his hands to grab Thando and told him that he was ready. Thando cleared his mind breathed heavily and went into his own world we can not understand. He would tell us what he saw in the world afterwards. Few minutes passed by and Thando opened his eyes. With excitement the Mayer asked "well what? " Thando smiled, he started narrating his versions "I saw a wedding of your daughter, she is to marry a person from a richest family from another town I saw you were happy." After hearing this the Mayor ordered new rooms for Thando with new sheets and guards. He even ordered a telephone line, as they were rare and expensive, in Thando's chambers. He was made the chief advisor of the Mayor.
