chapter Five

CHPTER 5

Benson

Ben was to meet up with Meky late that day in the park. They were to talk and have some fun. His dead Mr Mayo went to the garage. He went to his car opened it and got inside. Harshly he closed the door. He placed the key in the ignition centre and tried to start the car. His white Mazda could not start up. He tried four times and failed to start up. He opened the door, got out of the car and kicked its tire "you stupid" thing he said. He went to were his expensive Benz the latest model bought by the school was. He did not want to be seen driving it during his own missions. "what option do I have he thought." while entering it and turning the key on. The car started to idle and he reversed it out of the car port to the front yard. Ben quick ran to the car grabbed his seat belt and put it on. Ben really knew how fast his Dad could go. They drove off and he parked his car near the park. Mr Mayo looked at his son and said "go get him son." Meky was seating alone playing with the birds he flipped through his hands. A park is a public place but playing with the birds was unusual. That made few people to watch over from a distance. Some laughed some whispered a magician and the chanting continued as Ben was drawing closer. Ben saw Meky playing with birds and smiled. He said to himself " It was easier to see your exact position in the park my poor Meky." Meky stood up to meet his friend. Ben grabbed his hand and told him " come see something." The two boys went towards the gate of the park. As soon as Meky registered Mr mayo's car he was shocked and stopped. "why did you stop." asked Ben pushing Meky towards the door. Meky had a bad feeling but he thought, everything is fine whatever happens I am with my friend. They drove off the park and went to Ben's house. Meky was still confused asking himself, why are we going with Mr Mayo and all sort of other questions. He w's treated nice until he got inside when he w's first told that Mr mayo was Ben's father. Two masked men grabbed him down to the basement. The room was very dark and the light was turned on. He saw different types of people. These people he saw were in cages. He even saw his mother in one of the cages. Meky's hands were tightened together by coughs. " Your blood my dear friend will help me achieve my goal. If I use your blood I will raise back the Njuki army." Mayo took a big injection from one of his drawers. The one that is used on elephants. He ordered the men to hold Meky tight on the table on the centre of the room. Meky tried to scream but his mouth was covered with a green cloth. His heart was pounding fast with fear. He did not know what would happen to him next all he knew for sure was that Mr mayo was serious about taking his blood. The Njuki army is made up of very old folks but they are still very young as you can see. Those were the ones with the five star powers before you. "I have vampires, magicians, animal controllers like my son, werewolves and I have you with fresh blood to feed my soldiers together we will destroy the institution and take back the mall balls hahaha". Mr Mayo finished his statement with an evil laugh. He injected the injection inside of meky and took some pinds of blood. He went to his crying creatures feeding each and everyone a sip of his blood mixed with some elements Ben did not know. After tested that liquid those people turned a vampire becomes one and with were wolves in that cage. "Yes! yes! yes! Mr mayo shouted with Joy.

Kuda

Kuda was seating alone in a cell in the ADA. The day of his punishment was coming closer. His life as a prisoner was more painful than death. The others thought he was dead. Joe was not allowed to see him either. Joe knew that his friend was alive he even thought of rescuing him but the security was too tight. A man holding a tray with white clay plates entered the cell. Kuda could not see clearly. It was a man from the institution. In his other hand it was a glass of liquor. The man drew closer to him and kneel down. Kuda had chains coughed him both in legs and hands. He was very thirsty that he grabbed the glass of wine off the man's hand. The man said "take it easy you might choke." Kuda was almost half the glass. Kuda stopped drinking taking some high breathes he took a clear look to the man who brought him wine. "Oh you traitor!" he shouted with anger. He punched the man in the face. Joe did not fight back but replied instead, "I did not come to fight with you my friend, I came to tell you that your sister is doing fine" Kuda was hungry he took the food from the plate and started to eat it after some few bites he responded with a horse voice a voice that is raw and full of hatred "you killed my parents, and if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here. Joe looked in his friend's eyes touching his left chick with his right hand. With eyes full of regret he said to his friend "I can't change the past but I promise to make your future better." Kuda screamed with anger like he wanted to tear the chains apart but he was too weak to do that. And he asked Joe "How!? By killing my sister!?" The guards came to remove Joe off Kuda's cell who heard the scream. Kuda finished the food that was brought in by Joe. It was good food than he is used to eat. He enjoyed every bit of it and the guards came to take the trays. Kuda asked one of the guards politely "can I have some more wine?" "Not for a prisoner" he replied while he was behind the cell. He knew very well that his day was very near and he was to be executed. He looked at the window of the cell, he saw two little birds fighting he laid down his head while looking at them. And he got to sleep in the act.

The duo

The leader of the institution demanded a battle between Joe and one of his best fighters. He called it a 'death duo.' It was a fight that is between two powerful men who will only stop fighting after the death of someone. Sofia argued with him but he would not listen and he was a man of his word. He placed much trust in Joe that he thought that Joe could be his next captain of the institution. Yes Joe spent most of his time training but he had no field experience. Joe was not used to his okapi either. The battle was to be watched by most of the members of the institution except few that will be guiding the institution. This type of fight was seen in the past ten years. It was something the members would not miss. They wanted to see the potential in Joe towards their best fighter. Joe saw this as an opportunity to prove to Sofia that he was much better than she thought. The thought of knowing that it might as well mean his death stroked him very deep. Joe went to the battle field and saw people who were running to and from. Busy preparing for the duo.

Joe looked at the door, took his breath and knocked it. Sofia opened the door. She seemed troubled, she insisted " come in and have a seat. What have brought you to my office? Is everything alright?" Joe paid his respects and answered. "Can you please tell me about my parents" he kneeled down with one leg and bowed down his head. Sofia asked with eagerness "Why now?" Joe was still looking down with a sorrowful voice he said, "if I die today at least let me die knowing what exactly happened to my parents." She looked through her glasses to see if there is someone near. "Make sure the door is closed" Joe went to the door and banged it. It was not well closed until he banged it. He then took the seat he was offered before. Sofia started with a smile on her face. "Your father was very brave and smart. Oh he was very muscular and was the leader of this institution before that man. I used to look up for him every time he walked in." She opened one of the pictures in her desk draws. It was a picture of his dead and Sofia. He gave it to Joe. She continued "please tell no one about this. Your father did not die in a car accident that's what I believe. Your father was an angel and the leader was his captain. He was the leader of both the ADA and of the anti-human species. He was the most powerful of them all. One day the captain discovered it and he strategized the assassination of your father. He said that it was not allowed to have the anti-human species lead the institution. The anti-human species were hunted down which brought about all the five mall balls. He is the one who distributed these mall balls. But to my surprise his power did not go away it just weakened. He was assassinated and burned alive in this institution. Yes he had the most powerful mall ball of the five star but this was the main reason. The next morning his car was found in the bridge with blood that matched his DNA on the seats. It seemed as a real car accident. Those who knew were few about six and they were killed. After the death of your father the hunt of the anti-human species became the main aim of the ADA under this leader."

Joe seemed confused, it even got worse swing Sofia crying. She then said "you should be ready your fight starts in fifteen minutes. Do your best" as she wiped off her tears. Joe paid his respect thanking Sofia as he walked out heading towards the battle field. People were chanting with joy in the institution. They were more than sixty people heading to the battle field the leader was already seated with his two powerful man. Joe, holding his okapi he said to it "Don't let me die we have a revenge road to take." The okapi vibrated and replied him. "Fear not my lord." He then entered the battle field and everyone was celebrating chanting his name even the leader was clapping his hands. John was the one he was to fight. Johan saw how good he was with his enemy and start to fear death.

Benson

Mr Mayo took three magicians, two werewolves, his son and him. "We have to take the vampire alive, kill anyone who comes in your way. They took the road. He wanted to take Kuda for his experiments to finish up his Njuki army. The institution was never attacked in ages. Only few people knew where it was. They got near the gate. Benson took a snake off his bag. He could control animals and insects including birds by making contact with its eyes. He controlled the snake near one guard. He was standing near the gate with his okapi ready to fight. He looked in search of anything unusual before he knew it he was on the ground the venom was too strong for him. The magicians opened the real ADA gates with their powers. Two birds under Benson's spell flew around the institution. A spider on the other hand was sitting on the weapons in the battlefield was watching to tell if the duo has began. Benson led the two werewolves using a bat to Kuda's cell.

As ordered anyone who came in their way was killed. The two werewolves took their shape as they reached to Kuda's cell. They faced four guards who were very strong.

John awakened his okapi and everyone in the battlefield got even more excited. Joe grabbed his okapi and one man from the crowd shouted "Loose you can't awaken your okapi!!!" John took the fighting position ready for the go sign to attack his opponent. Johan closed his eyes stepped back "tsenghan" his eyes turned blue as his okapi awaken there was a bright light that shocked the supporters filling the eyes of the leader. John lost his confidence as the leader pressed a button that led to a bell ring which marked the beginning of the battle. Swords clashed with great force that raised dust a few centimetres above the ground and the two men were in a real combat. There was no telling who is the most powerful one amongst all the crossing of the sword was fifty-fifty. The crowd was quite as they couldn't predict the outcome John stepped back in a retreating manner. "I will take on once and for all he told Johan. Johan did not respond he quickly attacked with a left swing towards John's neck. John stopped the attack but felt to withstand its power and jumped again in a retreating manner. Johan saw in his eyes that this was no longer in control. He felt the power inside his body that was overwhelming. While Johan was concentrating on the changes inside his body John attacked aiming to the hear. Johan side stepped to the right avoiding the attack. The crowd was shocked the swing was fast enough not to be dodged worse without using his sword. John implemented another attack at least three swings while Johan was side stepping. "Johan! Johan! Johan!" the crowd started chanting his name. John stopped attacking when he raised his sword and found a sword lying on his neck. "I win" Johan told John. "finish him shouted" the leader. "Yes do kill me" whispered John. Johan with rage eyes replied "you are not my enemy." Johan walked towards the leader with eyes of vengeance who was shouting "you have to kill him." John from behind launched an attack aimed direct to Johan's head. Johan focusing on his enemy in front of him he didn't account for the attack. He continued with his aim. Johan failed to dodge the attack. He managed to remove his head from the way. Johan countered the attack piercing his sword through John's stomach. John's sword was inside Johan's right shoulder. The two men both fell to the ground and both okapi's fell to the ground as well. Struggling to speak Johan said " I told you, you are not my enemy." The paramedics were stopped to enter the battlefield. Supporters where still making noise. It was over for Joe who was not feeling his right arm. As he was the only one with small strength he stood up. Placing his feet on top of John's face the crowed shouted "Johan! Johan! Johan! John was just stirring with no breath left in him. Johan took his left arm and closed John's eyes.

While this happened Selina screamed who just went to the ladies inside the institution missing the final minutes of the battle. This took attention as members rushed off to her. There were dead members lying on the floor. The cell door was opened and unknown person stabbed to death near the cell gate. The leader was called upon and he said " The Tara."
