Nothing but a dream

Annabel had been outside the coffee shop with her brother Lucien, they had been waiting for a cab but found non. A cab finally approached and drove them home. Getting home Annabel's mother informed her that the rent was due, and they had a lot of bills to pay. It was morning the sunlight peeping through the windows of Annabel's room, she opened her eyes a little and groaned,she stood up quickly to close the window and got back on the bed ready to resume her beauty sleep, as she lay down on the bed her mother called " Annabel it's time for work" . " Thanks mum" she replied. She stood up again and wore her flip flops, she rubbed her eyes and headed to the bathroom,she got dressed in a simple blue gown with white dots on it, she packed her hair in a ponytail with tendrils falling over her face, the dress had been a gift from her friends Disha and Zara. They had been friends since highschool. Disha was from a well known family but Zara was just from a simple middle class family they weren't what you'd call rich but they were definitely okay. Annabel came out of her room looking all dressed and kissed her mother goodbye her brother Lucien had already left for school, her friends Disha and Zara had already come to pick her up and they all left for work. Annabel had gotten the job because of Disha and "This job would help a lot with some expenses in the house and it would solve most of her problems" she thought .
