12: New Alpha

Soraya's p.o.v.

When I came back from my run it was already morning.  I slept nearby a lake because I really needed to be one with my wolf and think about all that was laid out for me.  Yes I was born with expectations and was meant to lead.  So that's what I'm going to do.  I show the world that the newly formed Elite pack, is a pack made out of respect and low to zero tolerance for mistreating each other.  An Alpha of that pack is who I am and I'm going to embrace it whole heartily.

When everyone has woken up we eat some breakfast and made our way back towards home.  On the road I started to think back about Sebastian.  How is he going to react to this?  How is he even doing now with his mate and her brother?  I still have a lot of feelings for him but me being a new Alpha has more priority for me now.  The thought makes my heart ache a little and my wolf whimper.  But even if his mate didn't show up to put a hold to our relationship then this would have.  So one way or another it was imposable for us from the start.  We drove almost 2 days towards our new home.  I learned a lot about the girls.  Sophia likes to sing as long as she can remember, so I had already an idea to let her write some songs and sing for us on weekends when we have nothing planned.  She agreed immediately and was jumping out of joy.  Lila and Lily are sisters but no twins, though both of them had identical snow white hair and beautiful light grey eyes.  I found out that Lila always wanted to start her own Ice cream shop, ( ironically) and Lily always dreamed to have her own beauty salon.  So I promised them both that when the pack is big enough, they could start their own shops and live their dreams.  While in my head I already created a perfect picture how my pack would look like if the number in wolves will start to grow.

We were only a few miles away from home now and Jake told me that my mother would be waiting for us at our new pack house when we arrive.  And indeed when were finally home I saw my mother on the front step of the pack house.  It was not as enormous as the royal pack house but still huge compared to other pack houses.  My mother came towards me and hugged me tightly.  ''Hello my beautiful girl, I'm so happy to see you again.''

After that, she gave a hug to the twins as well.  ''So everything went well with your mission I heard?''  I nodded and signed for the others to come out of the cars.  They all bowed down when they saw my mother.  She giggled a little and rose her hands, palms up.  ''Please rise everyone.  I'm happy to see that my daughter got you out of your poor living situation and brought you all here safe and sound.  I guess that all of you are tired after the long trip so some servants of mine will bring you to your new homes so you can settle down and have some rest.''  She said in her Queen like voice and looked at me and smiled.

I turned my head towards my new pack members.  ''Indeed please take your rest and settle down.  Tomorrow we will go shopping with you all to buy some new clothes.  Your cabins are stocked with food and drinks and other necessities.  So with this I want to welcome you all to your new home.''

All of them started to clap in their hands and bowed afterwards.  The servants took each of them to their own cabin while me, the twins and my mother made our way inside of the pack house.  She showed us the office, meeting room, living room, kitchen and the outside kitchen, swimming pool that was outside as well at the back of the pack house, game room, our bedrooms, spare bedrooms and let's not forget the holding cells for if we ever need those.  Hopefully not but you never know.

At the end of the tour she gave me and the twins a set of keys.  ''This pack house is now officially yours sweetheart, you have the master key that can unlock all doors, a key for the holding cells and you also have some keys for different kind of saves placed in your bedroom and office.  For the twins I have also a sort of master key these can open all rooms except for the holding cells.  I understand that it may sound as if I don't trust you but it is a way we are used to out of safety precautions.''

The twins smiled and gave mother both a hug.  ''We understand, but we're still happy with this''  Mother smiled and turned towards me again.  ''I also have a little surprise for you sweetheart.''  When she said that Sebastian and Jonas came around the corner.  Sebastian hugged me tightly.  ''Hey baby sis, you really did great, I'm proud of you.''  There were forming some tears in my eyes but mother gained my attention again when she cleared her throat.  ''That''s not the surprise sweetie.''

I looked confused.  What other surprise could she have?  But before I could ponder more about that, a black smoke started to appear next to my mother.  Smoke I didn't create myself.  But it took a shape of a man and the aura around us became heavy, dark but still pleasant strange enough.  When all the black smoke disappeared I saw a man with hair as black as the night, Eyes almost just as black with a little red dot in the middle and he has a tan skin color.  He was lean build as well as far as I could see behind his expensive black suit.

My wolf started to wag her tail excitedly but I couldn't understand why.  Until my mother made it all clear for me.  ''Sweetie I want you to meet your Father.  Lucifer Morningstar.''  I was shocked.  My so called father smiled at me.  ''Hello my beautiful daughter.''  And before I could process this everything went dark.

Claire's p.o.v.

Lucifer and I agreed that it would be finally time for Soraya to meet her real father when she came back from her mission.  But all the things that happened from the moment that I revealed who I really was until meeting her new father was to much for her.  She passed out right in front of us.

Sebastian wanted to lift her up but Lucifer beat him to it.  ''Sorry boy but after all what happened between you and her I prefer that you keep your distance from her.''  Sebastian became angry and clenched his fists.  ''Who do you think you are?  You may be her father and the devil himself but I'm still her brother and have been more in her life to know about her who she really is then you.''

I tried to calm Sebastian down with laying my hand on his shoulder but he shook it away out of anger.  Lucifer turned his head towards Sebastian, eyes fully red now.  ''Now who was the one that took her virginity and let her fall when a sudden mate shows up?  Who was the one who drugged her to gain what he wants for his own selfish reasons instead of waiting when she would be ready?  Who is the one who can't speak and make decisions for him self but let daddy dearest do it for him?  Tell me who was that?  You broke her heart boy.  I know I was never there for her all this time but that was to keep her safe.  If someone knows that she is the only child of the devil himself she would've been in danger and being hunted at.  But now she finally reached her adult age, she can protect herself and I can finally wrap my arms around her and protect her as well against guys like you!''

Sebastian's eyes started to shift between black and his blue ones.  But instead letting his anger out towards Lucifer again he turned towards Jonas.  ''This is all your fold!  I should have never listened to you!''  And he ran out of the pack house after that.

Jonas shook his head and let out an annoyed sigh.  ''That boy really doesn't understand a thing about being a King Alpha''  But that took Lucifer's attention as well.  ''O really?  So you prefer that your son rules out of obligation instead of love?  Are you really that heartless so called king Alpha?'' Lucifer boomed.

O boy this is not good.  Jonas crossed his arms over his chest and looked angry as well towards Lucifer.  ''first of all, he is my son so what I teach him is our own concern and not yours.  Second of all he has found his mate and as Future King Alpha he needs to show a good example for the other wolves to be with his destined mate, even if he has feelings for an other.''

But Lucifer started to laugh darkly.  I started to tremble on my feet because of it.  He was the devil him self, who knows what he can do with just a snap of his fingers.  ''O Jonas, then if it's really all about obligation then do you even have feelings for your own mate or was that whole caring about her in that war just for show?  Because if that's the case then I claim your beautiful mate all for myself.  I would even have done that before I made that deal but I saw your mate being in love with you and me having a heart, even if I'm the so called devil himself, didn't wanted to break a lovely relationship.''

No, he didn't say that did he?  O boy, this is not going good.  But to my surprise, Jonas had still the same face expression and didn't move an inch.  Was he not angry after what Lucifer told him?  ''I have already Claimed and marked Claire.  She is the Queen of the wolves and it will stay that way.  And you can't expect that my feelings stay the same towards her after such a long time being together.  If you will excuse me now, I have a son to put in to place.''  With that he turned around and left.

I was shocked.  Did his feelings for me really die down after all this time?  Yes we argued more and more now these times but I thought that is was because of all the things that were happening around us.  I snapped back to attention when I felt a hand on my shoulder.  Looking up to the owner of it I saw a pair of Black eyes.  ''I knew this already, but I wanted you to hear it from himself.  Sorry if it made you upset but I didn't want you to life in a lie.  You can always call for me if you need me, but now I need to tend to our daughter.''  Lucifer said with a gentle smile before taking Soraya to her bedroom in his arms.

I couldn't believe it.  I was loving a man who didn't love me back anymore.  What is going to happen now?  Surely I'm not going to let tis pass.  Sebastian and Soraya were Right.  We separated them when they were really in love.  It has to come from both ways and if not then it is a doomed relationship.  And I'm putting my foot down for them now.
