Chapter 30: Start! The battle royal event!

Waking up in the morning. I immediately go and wash my face and use transformation magic to hide my pointy ears and make my height a bit taller.
“I look like a small high school girl in this form, it’s too bad I can’t do better than this. The most important thing is the part that I’m very cute. I look like an actress and idol.”

I get my equipment and go to the central part where the adventurers that want to join the even should be.
Reaching the park, I found out that everyone is very serious. I just saw a man with dragon knight-like armor equipped to him and many insanely strong-looking adventurers are here.
While walking I forget to look o my direction and bump into someone.
I bump into a red-haired girl. With her, she has equipped with two red swords a blue sword and a red sword.
“Sorry, it’s my fault I’m not looking.”
I said and bow.
“You’re that girl yesterday right, that girl that defeats that giant man with one attack.”
She said as she stares at me.
I’m started to become popular here what should I do? But what’s with that scary-looking stare it putting my spine on chills.
Then I noticed a spark-like feeling go through me.
Don’t tell me she just uses status check on me.
The red-haired girl smiled.
“You’re really strong aren’t you. Sorry I take a look at your status to check what kind of abilities and skills you have, but my status check skill was blocked. Only high-ranked adventurers can block a status check skill. I’m looking forward to fighting you on the battlefield.”
The red-haired girl said.
I made my status private just in case I happened to battle a strong monster or demon. Also, I don’t want someone or a stranger looking at my skills and abilities.
I stood up and whip out the dust on my clothes.
“What’s her problem?”
But she is good, before the battle royal starts, she’s already checking the adventurer's status for her advantage.
Looking at her closely she has that cool aura in her.
I turn my glance to her and she stops walking, she then turns her head and looks at me.
I turn my head away quickly and walked to another location.
“It’s the Crimson hearts squad one of the most powerful squads in the continent.”
“That knight leading the squad is this awesome guy name Zalis.”
“Zalis with the title of dragon knight. If his joining then this is the end for all of us. The winner is already decided before it started.”
“That’s right a normal adventurer has nothing compared to a knight.”
The adventures are looking up to the man wearing blue armor and with his squad.
Is this man really that great?
“Status-check.”
I tried to use status check on him but it was quickly blocked.
He can block my status check which means he is super strong like the other knights I know.
Looks like my intuition to be cautious is right. Even this town is called a novice adventurer town. There are still very strong people in this town.
“Screening magic: Announcement monitor!”
The announcer cast magic and suddenly a giant monitor screen appeared in the sky.
So that monitor is magic?
“Thank you for the lovely adventurers that came and join this special event. I’m here to explain everything before we start the event. The even is a battle royal will take place on a remote island far away from this town. Everyone will be transported randomly on the Island. The island is a vast land with mountains of Ice, dessert, beach, plain grass, ruins, and forest. Participants can use any magic and skill they have. On this island being killed is impossible, once a body reaches a critical point in its HP the body will immediately transport back to this town fully healed. To win an adventure should defeat all his enemies. The first lace will have the 500,000 gold and rare equipment plus the invitation to join the heroes expedition in World tree Island. The second place will receive 200,000 gold and the third place will receive 100,000. If everyone is ready lets the battle royal begins!”
The announcer said with a cheerful voice.
An expedition to World tree Island? That caught my interest. If I win this event I’m able to meet with the hero of this world.
This is getting me hype.
Our ID card started to glow and then our body glows in bright white color.
The adventurer-packed park earlier was instantly empty.
As I open my eye’s I saw myself in the plain grassy land.
[Battle royal event starts!]

Does that mean this is the grassy plain? I’m so unlucky, opponents can immediately see me in this position.
I need to find a place with hiding spots. I decide to run away in the grassy land, but before I’m able to go away.
Bullets stopped me by running.
“Bullets? Where did it come from? Ouch!”
I was shot by a high-speed bullet.
I cast my earth magic and make four walls in different directions to defend myself. I then heal myself using my healing magic. Then, I followed it using my area detection skill to know the location of my opponents.
Despite this being an open area I saw three small green dots. There is one on the near hill and one hiding behind the rock on my east side.
Looking at the bullet direction, the one who shot me with a high-speed bullet is the one hiding behind the rock.
It’s payback time.
I deactivate my earth walls and run toward the man hiding in the big rock.
After seeing him eye to eye.
I saw a man with a sniper in his hand. He looks surprised and tried to run away. But before that happened I cast my magic to defeat him.
“Fire magic: Breath of flames!”
Bright flames were then fire to the sniper man and got burned by it.

There’s a pointing system in the event. I guess I’m doing a great job.
Before I’m able to go away, my area detection skill was able to detect upcoming players. About 20 players are coming in my direction.
Are they planning to join forces to defeat me?
I then averted my eyes to the players running in my direction and saw the big face of the man I defeated in the duel yesterday.
“This is revenge! I can’t accept being defeated by a little girl like you! I bring my whole party to defeat you! This time it’s my win!”
Sinek shouted with anger.
“Some people don’t really learn their lessons.”
Yesterday while I’m preparing myself for this event I level up my lightning magic and learn some new lightning magic. This is the perfect time to use it.
I clap my hands and cast.
“Lightning shock!”
Lightning waves were then released from my hand and electroshock the upcoming players, making them paralyze and fell to the ground.
It’s so cool.
I’m able to defeat them by just clapping
Now that they all fell to the ground, I walked to them, and one by one I stab them using my sword with poison on its blade.
The poison was so powerful it makes them reach their critical HP quickly.

“That was easy. Phew… I need to go and hide quickly.”
With the use of wind magic. I increase my agility and run to other locations with a decent hiding spot. I decided to hide in the ruins area and use the ruins as my main location until this event ended.

Meanwhile in the other location.
The red-haired girl defeated many assassin-type adventurers on her own.
“That was easy, are you really an assassin?”
She said and defeat a ninja adventurer using her red sword.

They are said to be one of the most powerful squad in the kingdom called crimson hearts are also dominating the battlefield.
Zalis with his long spear was able to defeat many adventurers with one swing.

Other adventurers like Blaze the said to be the most powerful dual-wielding man that defeated 100 demons by himself arrived.
“It’s the great Blaze… Run for your lives!”
“We still want to live run everyone! Run!”
“Don’t waste your life on this battlefield!
“If I know the great Blaze was here I will not join this stupid event!”
The adventurers run for their lives with Blaze’s presence alone. They all jump to the mountain cliff and they all reach the critical HP rate.

Praised by his ally.
Blake remained silent and think what he really did.
An adventurer named Keele enters the battlefield with high confidence.
He was then surrounded by hundreds of adventurers in different classes and levels.
“It’s Keele Godman! That handsome bastard should just die!”
“Keele Godman we need to defeat you.”
“Why the hell you join this even despite you being one of the richest people in this kingdom?”
Keele’s just look down on them and said:
“Well, It’s not my fault that I’m the gods favorite.”
“This creature is making me angry.”
“If we're all creatures, I can say that you’re all insects and I’m the universe.”
Keele replied with overwhelming confidence.
“That’s not even a creature!”
The adventurers then attack Keele in different ways. But before all their attack reached Keele.
In one second all of the adventurers were pierced by light magic.
“Angelic god universe with time and space defying physics movement miracle supernova light piercing sword of judgment attack!”

All of the defeated adventurers became a ball of light and transported back to Axel central park.
“... My attack name is so long it’s mouth-watering… I need to think of something cool and short. Maybe I can just say it as light god swords of judgment next time or something else.”
Keele muttered.
With the power of other high-level adventurers. The battle royal is getting harder and harder.
I reached the ruins and decided to look at them in the highest place.
The battle royal event continues.
