Looking at the disaster that happened to the town. I started to think that it was beautiful. This is the trace of pure power. With the power of , I’m able to have this kind of power too.

“Overturn this world… What are you muttering about Mayu?”
The girl who talked to me is Akane.
I was surprised to see her in this place. This place is located in the demon realm after all. A normal human should not able to enter inside.
“Stay away from me.”
“I saw the letter you left. I can’t believe you did that. After you leave I come to search for you. I thought we are friends and you will share your problem with me…”
“I don’t want to trouble anyone anymore.”
I replied to her.
She then draws her sword and pointed it toward me.
“Then fight me, if I win I you will come back in the human realm and stay with me. If you win you can go anywhere you go.”
I didn’t see any meaning in this fight. But to Akane, this feels very serious looking at her serious expression. I guess I don’t have any choice but to accept.
“... I won’t hold back Mayu.”
She said as she draws her sword. The blade of the sword reflected my reflection. And I noticed that she is using a sword I never saw.
It’s a steel long sword.
Akane uses a magic sword to fight because she won't have the magic ability. Each of her swords has its unique ability that can rival magic-user. Her swordsmanship is also far from normal. In my first battle with Akane in the battle royal event, I felt a huge gap in our fighting ability. She is fast and thinking about her next move.
She herself is dangerous in her own way.
“Sword skill: Lightning dragon fall!”
The moment Akane swings her sword downward. Huge lightning struck through my body instantly. I didn’t even get a chance to move. The lightning then leaves a status condition of making my move unable to move.
She is really smart she makes my body immobile. She knows that I can’t do anything if I can’t move my body. I can’t even cast spells.
I know Akane is powerful but I don’t want her to be like Meily or Kaede in the future. I don’t want to lose anyone anymore.
The paralyzing effect has worn off. After that, I immediately cast magic and attack.
“Wind magic: Wind cutter!”
Akane draws her other sword. This time it's a green sword the also has a wind attribute element on it.
“Sword skill: Wind cutter!”
She then deflects it with the same attack.
The collusion of magic results in a wide cloud of dust. Blocking our field of vision. To protect my self I created a wall of Ice in all of my direction including the top. By empowering my defense Akane can’t pull her surprise attack.
That is what I thought…
Suddenly from beneath the soil. A hand appeared and grabbed my feet.
From the ground, Akane appeared. With another type of sword in her hand, she thrust it toward me. I immediately dodge the blade.
“Sword bend!”
The blade of the sword bend toward my face. It causes a cut to my left cheeks. The bend sword then started to get longer and about to strike again. Using Fire magic I created an explosion-like power that makes me blast away from her.
She directly caught on the explosion.
I started to have a wary expression as I think what happened to her.
Did I kill her? That is the thought running on my mind after making the explosion.
“Wind sword: Wind s***h!”
Akane was still alive and I barely made any scratch on her. She attacks me with her wind s***h, but it seems like she just uses it to defog the smoke created by the explosion.
She is still looking at me seriously.
“... I already knew it Mayu… I got to talk to Noah on that day too. I saw you fight him. I know what is the genesis bearers. You got a troublesome ability inside of you. You’re just afraid that I will give us trouble. But you should not worry about it. I’m not that weak to be defeated easily.”
“It’s not only that, I wanted to know the feeling of finishing something. I come here to battle a demon king commander who killed my friend before. I wanted to kill her with my own hands.”
“Revenge… I know that feeling. My family is been killed by the demon army after all.”
“Then… Why keep on fighting me? I want to finish this on my own hands.”
“I can’t I don’t want to see my friend fell in despair… I’m also your friend. If you can’t understand that I will strike it on your idiotic head… Behold this is my strongest sword…”
A golden sword she gets from her waist.
“... Divine sword Excalibur.”
Just the moment Akane draw her sword I felt a huge negative feeling about it. Before it hits me I will have to defend myself from her.
This battle almost doesn’t have any meaning.
Why I’m fighting my friend I cared?
It’s non-sense.
But for the two of us to have accepted each other we must talk using our battle skills.
“Ultimate wind magic: Tempest Dragon Roar!
I cast my ultimate wind magic. It takes the form of a giant dragon created with the wind. The wind dragonfly toward Akane at high speed. Akane didn’t even flinch seeing the dragon about to attack her.
“Excalibur dragon slayer!”
Her sword got bigger and as she swings her sword the dragon was sliced in half and disappeared.
I was stunned seeing her wipe out ultimate magic like it was nothing.
“... Mayu I already told you… I’m not that weak… This won’t kill you but it will put you in great pain.”
Her sword glows in shite color illuminating the whole surrounding with it. The light was so strong I can’t even see anything anymore.
Akane steps forward and makes a sword stance. After focusing a huge amount of energy on her Excalibur. She swings it and delivers a destruction s***h. That destroyed the surrounding area.
“Excalibur: Divinity sword strike!”
Even though I have Genesis magic. I’m no match to this girl. Akane might be the strongest person I met in this world. She might able to kill the demon king herself.

I receive a direct attack from Akane. Just like what she said. She didn’t kill me, but it’s very hurtful. I can’t even move an inch of my body. My MP number was also drained. Making me unable to use any magic.
She then walked to me and said:
“Mayu you are not alone, I’m you’re friend… So if you have any problem you can talk it to me normally.”
I smiled and nodded.
(Despite betraying her trust, she is still there for you. Even you are crazy, she comes to see you. I’m disappointed, I really thought I will get full control of your body but looks like an annoying glimmer of hope shines above you.)
That’s right, she is my friend.
