I never imagine that I’m going to have this kind of experience in my life. This is super fantasy-like. I started to have many comrades and defeat evil monsters using magic and the power of friendship. Friendship is quite not there but this is still amazing.
Looking at our status, our team is not that bad. These two pretty girls that join us are pretty strong on their own. They are both S-rank adventurers. Lumina has that huge pool of magic in her, Kuroe is a blade master. These two will be really awesome. But This man walking in front of me is serious expression is really a monster on his own level.
Just with himself he levels up and became stronger.
Retto turned his glance around the path we are walking and said.
“This path will bring us to the Ice salamander.”
That makes me remember about his squad that nearly die. Retto is in a rush and pathetic. He is powerful but he let his squad do the job. He is an i***t.
Retto came to this palace to finish the Ice dragon with his current teammates.
“Ice Salamander? That A-rank monster with a huge bounty. Just knowing our target makes me feel happy. Also, I wanted to use this anger inside of me. I can’t believe I lost to that stinky guy.”
Lumina said and started to release a raging aura from her body.
Kuroe path her back and said.
“Well, I’m angered to but that p*****t really pissed me off, but thanks to Retto. That stinky man is already gone in this world forever.”
Kuroe praised Retto.
Retto stays calm and continues walking forward.
“Even with you obviously saying you like him, Retto still ignored you.”
I said.

We reached the path that connects the palace we are currently in toward the cave where the Ice salamander resides. Retto takes the lead and enters the cave and in that cave, the Ice salamander notices our entrance and makes a roaring sound that nearly destroys our eardrums.

Said Lumina and then put her hand in front of her and collect the magic around the place. The magic then makes a form of multiple spears. With Lumina’s order, the spears launched toward the Ice salamander body in light speed.
“My light magic didn’t do anything?”
“Magic barrier… Stay back, I will use my blade to break its barrier. Have some taste of my Kogetsu. Retto, look at me as I slice this monster in a flash.”
Lightning swift.
With Kuroe’s lightning speed s***h she was able to come closer to the Ice salamander and break some of its magical barriers.
After that Lumina followed it with her light magic.
“Light magic: Luminous Sword!”
A giant sword of light was launched and pierced through the target's body.
After making a hole in its body, the Ice salamander regenerates and then breathes chilly breath.
“The magic barriers are broken this is a perfect time.”
Retto said and put his hand to his sword.
The Ice salamander has multiple Magic barriers it protects the main body from attacks the monster can’t see. With the magical barrier destroyed by Kuroe. Lumina uses her magic to kill the Ice salamander but didn’t work because of its magic resistance and regeneration.
To make true damage to Ice salamander. Physical power instead of Magical power should be used while the Magic barrier is off.
Looks like this Ice salamander is trying to use its cold breath to slow us down and regenerate its barriers.
“Wind magic: towering tornado”
I cast wind magic and make a tornado in the area. Te Ice chilly breath of the Ice salamander is been canceled and Retto and the others can move freely.
“Light magic: Light meteor!”
“Lightning swift!”
Lumina and Kuroe’s combo started to destroy the layers of magic barriers.
Retto stays focus and builds energy to his sword waiting for the moment the Salamander lost his barriers.
“Sword skill: Judgement.”
As Retto swings his sword downward. The field slightly got cut down for a second. The Ice Dragon eye’s whited and it suddenly fell to the ground.
[Congratulation! Semi-Boss monster was defeated.]
A window appears to my vision.
That means that one strike defeats this monster.
Retto is really a monster on his own level.
Lumina and Kuroe were stunned after seeing Retto demonstrate his sword skill.
“That was amazing.”
“Retto is really cool.”
“Well, the title knights of the knight is not for show. Also, that skill he just uses made his MP go down to 1. That means Retto is really exhausted right now and about o fall to the ground.”
I said.
Retto fell to his knees. Kuroe immediately gets some water from her back and made Retto drink.

Retto drink water and Kuroe started to blush.
“Why are you blushing?”
Asked Lumina.
“I take a sip in the same bottle earlier, Retto and I just kissed.”
Replied Kuroe.
That’s an indirect kiss.
Retto you really are hopeless for not noticing this cute girl falling in love with you. I hate you but I like you a bit. What is this feeling? Am I started to feel something to this dumb man? Maybe it’s just a psychological feeling because he is the only man I met in this world. He also tried to kill me the first time we met.

After that, Retto takes some MP Potion and refreshes himself just in case another danger appeared suddenly.
This place is very unpredictable.

We started hunting some monsters and gathering edible monster meat and unexpectedly we reach a place without any presence of a monster. The only you can see is the steam of water and spring.

Lumina and Kuroe also take a look.
All of us girls then turn our gaze to Retto.

With our strength, we tie down Retto and put a blindfold to his eyes.
“I’m very sorry Retto, I don’t want to be smelly, especial when I’m with you.”
“Kuroe lets and take a bath.”
Lumina called Kuroe.
All of the girls then take off their armor and clothes. They all take a bath in the hot spring.
I really can’t believe that I’m having this bath.
With my tiny body. I can feel being purified.
With our melting-like expressions, I can say that we’re all enjoying this hot spring.
Retto untie himself and get up.
“Woah! Retto doesn’t look at us you pervert.”
I shouted and throw a little rock at him.
“I’m not interested in midget like you. I’m going to this side of the hot spring and started cooking this monster meat.”
Retto then cast earth magic that created a wall dividing the two areas. With this Retto is not able to see what we girls doing in our side of the hot spring.
Well, Retto is really a good guy and faithful to the princess. The problem is his seriousness. That makes him a bit boring.
Even he is like that he is reliable and trustworthy.
While soaking myself in the hot spring I still wonder…

Then that means I can go outside and live normally in Kuroe and Lumina's nation. That will be awesome I guess.
Finding out that there is a place for me outside is really great. At the time Retto said I’m hated outside. I’m dishearted and sad about it. But now I’m so happy and I have something good to look forward to.

I asked.

I cheerfully nodded.

“But Retto is in love with the princess in the kingdom.”

“I think, I can survive this dungeon.”
Said and eat the fried frog meat in my hand.
