CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Alpha Craig POV

As we're running to the pack hospital I quickly mind link Dr. Mang "have all hands on deck and at the ready", when one of my warriors link me "Alpha, what did you want to do with an unconscious Romero?" f**k, completely forgot about him. "Throw him in a cell," is all I link back. My main priority is my baby sister right now. As soon as we make it to the pack hospital Dr. Mang has a whole team of nurses at the ready with a bed. I see her eyes glass over when she looks at a bloody unconscious Caroline. As soon as Alpha Ryker, I do believe that's his name lays her down on the bed, Caroline starts to convulse and foam at the mouth. The nurses and Dr. Mang immediately sprung in to action and started to take her back. One of the nurses stay behind and escorted us to the waiting area.

I look to Alpha Ryker and he is pacing back in forth with his hands fisted in his hair. His eyes murderous with a hint of fear.

"What happened?" I ask looking dead at him. He freezes in his steps and when he looks at me all I see is pain. It puzzles me that he would be so upset about my sister when he doesn't even know her. "I heard him." Tobias spoke up. "He's her mate." But, that doesn't make any sense. She isn't eighteen. Right when he opened his mouth to speak, I hear my father and mother running through the doors. My mother's face is tear stricken and my father screams "WHAT HAPPENED?" Looking just as murderous. "The doctors are working on Caroline now. We found her in the woods stripped of her clothes, bloody and unconscious." My mate spoke up with so much calm in her voice that never wavered. My mother cries into my father's chest. "My baby, my baby girl" then slumps to the floor with my father's arms wrapped around her.

Alpha Ryker then chose to speak up. "I caught the scent of blood first, followed it to the forest then wolfesbane." I look dead at him with shock written all over my face. Wolfesbane?He wasn't even looking at us. His eyes then turn black letting me know his wolf was forward, with his hands fisted at his sides. Visibly shaking. "He was on top of my... he was on top of her". He grits out through clenched teeth.

I feel Tobias come forward with me ready to rip that mother fucker apart.

Dr. Mang POV

When I get a link from Alpha Craig to have everyone ready and all hands on deck, I figured it would be a few pack members fighting and someone took it to far. When I seen my Alpha and Luna running through the doors and someone carrying Caroline, My heart jumped to my throat. As soon as that man layed her down on the bed she starts to convulse and foaming at the mouth. I immediately spring into action and my team and I wheeled her into the nearest room. While one of my nurses was hooking up an IV drip I had another one to draw blood so we can make sure we're not missing anything, while I hook up an EKG to monitor her heart and Mary checks her blood pressure. After I finish hooking up the EKG I check her pulse. It's weak but, it's still there. When I take off the jacket that she is wearing I'm shocked to see that she is naked underneath with bruising upon her chest, neck, arms, and also bruising showing in between her legs. Oh no. "Mary, bring me a Rape Kit". I say and everyone stops to look at me. "NOW!" and she hurriedly runs to get what i asked for, when I turn to walk out the door. I have to ask for her parents permission because she is still technically a minor.

I spot her parents huddled together on the floor. It pains me so much to see them this way, and it pains me even more to have to ask them for permission. Sometimes I really hate this part of my job. I looked at her mother first and her eyes were puffy from crying and I knew this was going to break her heart. "I need your permission to administer a Rape test, because she is not yet eighteen." I say as Freya starts screaming "Oh Goddess Noo!" and it broke my heart some more. When the same man that carried her in spoke up. "He didn't rape her. I got there in time." I felt so much relief upon hearing those words. It puzzled me to who he is when I hear "CODE BLUE, CODE BLUE." coming from her room and I rush to her room and assess the situation.

"Check the electrodes" I yell as Mary does what I asked. "All secure." I check her pulse and don't feel any circulation so I immediately jump on top of her to start chest compressions. "Get me her blood results!" I roar. A minute later Josie walks in and says "She tested positive for wolfesbane and thirty milligrams of Phencyclidine." s**t!!! "I NEED ONE MILLIGRAM OF EPINEPHRINE" I yell as i continue chest compressions. Just as Josie hands Mary the syringe, "Hurry up" I say when Mary stabs her outer thigh. Within fifteen seconds Caroline's heart starts beating again. s**t.
