My heart is pounding on my ribcage. I have never been as nervous as this. I never worried if people will like me or not, just today. The doorbell rang and my heart beat raced even faster. I took one last glance of myself in the mirror and sighed. “You can do this Ayesha, it’s not like they’re monsters.” I told myself. I took my bag before going to the door to open it. Ken showed up in his white longsleeves and dashing smile. For a few seconds of staring, I thought I forgot my problem today. “Let’s go?” I nodded, he then escorted me. “Did you tell your brother we'll be home late?” I nodded.
