Emma "Congratulations, you are pregnant." Emma couldnt believe it. After everything she had been through now she was pregnant. The doctor looked at her in shock as she started sobbing. "You're not happy? Why?" asked the doctor Emma just started sobbing even more. "The reason why I am pregnant is because I was r***d. The man who hurt me will kill me if he finds out. Please don't tell anyone, please!! He is a very dangerous man!" Emma begged. Doctor Elizabeth was fuming when Emma told her the truth. "If thats the case let me tell my brother, he can help protect and hide you."Emma thought about it for a few minutes. "How can you be sure he won't just kill your brother? The man killed my father, and my father was a commander in the army." "Because my brother owns his own security firm, and he was once a Navy Seal. If my brother can't protect you no one can." answerd Elizabeth. "Ok. I will let you tell your brother, but no one else must know." stated Emma. "Stay here, I am going to call him right now." Doc. Elizabeth says as she leaves the room. Emma sat on the exam table waiting for Doc. Elizabeth to return, thinking about the moment her life changed. *Flashback* Emma had just finished closing the coffee shop she worked at when a man grabbed her from behind and pulled her into an alley. It was around 11:30pm and no one was around. “Hello pretty lady.” Came a scratchy voice behind her. Terrified Emma tried to fight her assailant, but she was to weak. She tried to scream for help but the man covered her mouth. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” The man stated. Emma kept struggling to get away. But the man pushed her against the wall and proceeded to lift her dress. Emma started to cry, frantically trying to escape the man who was about to r**e her. “Please!” She begged “Please don’t hurt me, please don’t do this!” But the man wouldn’t listen, after he took what he wanted, he threw Emma on the ground and beat her. Emma fell unconscious, but not before hearing “If you tell anyone I will hunt you down and kill you.” *End of flashback* Emma was startled from her thoughts when Doc Elizabeth walked in, this time she was with someone. “Emma this is my brother Lucas, he agreed to help you.” Said Doc. Elizabeth. But Emma wasn’t listening to her. All her focus was on the man that had just walked in. He was huge, he stood at 6 foot 5. With short blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black shirt the showed off his toned muscles and camo pants, and black military boots. Lucas “Hurry up with that Wolf!” Lucas yelled at his Beta. “Yes Alpha.” Wolf replied. “Cut it out with the Alpha thing.” Lucas snarled. “I need that file!” As Wolf walked into his office his phone rang. Looking at the caller id he smiled. “Hey little sis, have you forgiven me yet?” Lucas answered the phone. “I don’t have time for any games. I wouldn’t have called you but I have a serious situation here and I need you to come here now. And I haven’t forgiven you yet, but if you help me with this I might consider forgiving you.” Elizabeth stated. “It’s that bad?” Asked Lucas. “Can it wait, there is a client that I need to meet with today.” “It’s more important than that. This concerns a young pregnant woman running from a very dangerous man that r***d her. So get your but to the hospital now!” She yelled. At her words Lucas snarled. Drake, Lucas’s wolf was pacing and snarling in his head. He was angry that someone would force themselves on a woman. “Don’t snarl at me like that. I won’t apologize for my tone, Alpha or not.” Exclaimed Elizabeth. “I am not snarling because of your disrespectful tone. I am snarling because of what you just told me.” Lucas bit back. “I will be there in 5.” Lucas hung up the phone, walking out of his office with his beta following. Wolf walked silently behind him. Everyone they passed knew not to bother either of them, they could sense their Alpha’s anger. “Lucas, don’t take this wrong but you should calm down some. You are stressing the pack out. They can feel your anger and it’s making them anxious.” Stated Wolf. Lucas took a deep breath calming himself and his wolf. “Thanks Wolf.” He said. As Lucas drove to the hospital he thought about what his sister had told him. How could someone be so horrible as to r**e a woman, and then scare her so badly that she needed protection. Then it hit him, only one person was that bad. Rogue Alpha Marcus Adler, the bane of Lucas’s existence. Lucas punched the wheel in frustration. How dare that man hurt a woman on his territory. Lucas pulled up to the hospital doors, he was met by his sister. “Follow me, but please when you meet her please be patient. She might be scared of you after what she went through.” Elizabeth stated. Lucas followed his sister into the hospital. As they walked through the corridor silently all Lucas could think about was how he was going to rip Marcus apart. Suddenly a heavenly scent of strawberries, and vanilla hit Lucas, Drake started going crazy in his head. The scent got stronger and Drake became more agitated. When they entered an examination room, Lucas understand why. “Mate!” Drake screamed. There sitting on the exam table was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. She had long curly blond hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a blue crop top, with black jeans and white ankle boots. Her outfit showed off her figure nicely. The woman his sister wanted him to protect was his mate. This infuriated Drake, the woman who had been violated by the Rogue Alpha was his mate. In that moment Lucas felt like a failure. He should have looked for her harder, if he had she wouldn’t have been hurt. He was pulled out of his thoughts when Elizabeth cleared her throat. “Lucas this is Emma Thatcher, Emma this is my big brother Lucas.” She repeated. “What is up with you?” She mind linked “Emma is my mate.” Lucas answered.
