Worth it?
At Leaders High School, there were two massive hostels, one for boys and another for girls. And as you’d expect, there was never a moment of peace. Noise was just a part of daily life. What do you expect from a bunch of teenagers? Laughter, shouting, arguments, and gossip filled the air, driving the matron absolutely insane. The students called the hostel “Devil’s” because they swore the matron was the Devil in disguise. She was everywhere, always watching, always catching students when they least expected it.
The security guards, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Smith, were no joke either. They acted like they were running a military camp, monitoring every single move the students made. If you tried sneaking out or breaking the rules, best believe they would catch you. And if they did? You were getting “hours.” Hours were the worst punishment ever forced labor in the DH (Dining Hall), where you scrubbed trays, cleaned up spills, or did whatever disgusting chore was handed to you. Nobody wanted “hours,” but at Leaders High, breaking the rules was just part of the fun.
Now, let’s talk about DH,the heart of the school, where everyone ate together. You can imagine the madness. Hundreds of students crammed into a giant hall, voices bouncing off the walls, plates clinking, trays being slammed on tables, people breaking dishes, food being spilled, pure chaos. The cooks must have been exhausted because these kids ate three times a day, every single day. And the dirty dishes? Oh my God. Mountains of them. Some students didn't even finish their food before running off, leaving others to clean up their mess.
Among all this madness, there was one squad that stood out from the rest. The Trio.
Hattie, Bella, and Eunice. They weren’t just another group of pretty girls—they were the girls. Every eye in the school followed them when they walked. They were beautiful, confident, and they knew it. But let’s be real—Hattie? She was on another level. That girl was everything. The way she carried herself, the way she spoke, the way she could make someone feel like they mattered just by looking at them she had this unreal energy. She wasn’t just a high school girl; she was a main character.
And let’s not forget Bella and Eunice. They were just as hot as Hattie, and they knew how to turn heads too. But here’s the thing they hated being called Hattie’s sidekicks. It wasn’t like they were just her background dancers. They had their own personalities, their own charm, their own presence. But no matter what, people always referred to them as Hattie’s girls. And that? That led to another mess but wait, we’ll get to that later.
Now, there was another squad that had the school in a chokehold—The Big Five. Five guys, all of them dangerous levels of attractive. But one of them? Louis.
Louis was the guy. The one everyone wanted. Tall, smooth, confident, and just hot as hell. He wasn’t just good-looking, he had that thing about him, that effortless charm that made girls lose their minds. The problem? He had a girlfriend. And not just any girlfriend she was in his class, both of them in matric. That didn’t stop girls from wanting him, though. They were obsessed. It was like some people just chose to ignore the fact that he was taken.
DH was where everything happened, where squads made their presence known, where drama unfolded, where glances were stolen, and where unspoken battles between egos played out. Leaders High School was full of squads, but none of them shook the school like The Trio and The Big Five. And trust me, things were about to get real!
