The unbreakable bond
Ava and Jake had been best friends from birth. Their parents got long really well and so did they. Ava and Jake were inseparable. Ava saved Jake as "annoying goat" while Jake saved her as "stupid." They both loved each other like brother and sister.
It was their first day in college since they had gotten into the same college. They agreed to meet up at the entrance of school. Ava stood impatiently calling him. When a pair of arms wrapped her neck, it was Jake. He pulled her cheek and said," Sorry I'm late, my parents were getting emotional." Ava laughed and they both went in. They sat for their first lecture—side by side. Joking every second. Jake sneaked some chocolates which were Ava's favorite and said, " You love chocolates, right? I brought your favorites. Ava looked at him and grabbed a piece and munched on it slowly.
" Ava, get up, you and your lover,"their lecturer yelled, and the class erupted into laughter. Jake glanced at me and we both stood up, trying our best not to laugh.
Jake looked at Ava, and she looked back and they both burst into laughter, until their throats hurt. The lecturer, furious, sent us back to stand but at that moment, Ava's asthma kicked in, her chest hurt as she struggled for breath. Jake reached into his pocket handing Ava her inhaler, which she breathed deeply."
Ava, with a faint voice, said, "How do you have it ?. Jake looked at her and said with a smirk."I always keep an extra one just in case of emergencies, are you alright?
Ava erupted into hot tears as she hugged Jake. Jake's heart pounded against his chest roughly, his face blushed with redness as it was the first time Ava had ever hugged him. Her sweet orange smell filled his nose and he found himself wanting to sniff her, her blonde hair full of the smell of roses made Jake feel what he had never felt before.
