It had only taken Joshua a few minutes to eat his fill. He had to admit the food was delicious. It was simple, with only a portion of beef roast, potatoes, carrots, freshly baked bread, and salad. The dessert was lemon lavender cookies and lemon sorbet. The cookies had melted in his mouth as he ate, making him angry with himself for missing the meal at Tyson’s home.
As Joshua had eaten, Edward and Aunt Freya looked around the house. They had said they had never been in it and had considered upgrading her little cottage. Joshua smiled as he listened to the elder wolves chatter and excitedly point out features they might like if they decided to live somewhere other than Freya’s cottage. He was finishing the last bites of his cookies as Edward and Frays joined him in the small kitchen area.
