Everyone was sitting at the table and enjoying their meal when Kevin returned to Tyson’s to rejoin the group. He said nothing as he sat beside a sullen Bethany and kissed her head before filling his plate. He looked up to see Tyson staring at him with the corner of his mouth twitching.
“What?” Kevin asked as he stuffed a large piece of roasted potato into his mouth.
Tyson sighed as he fed Willa a bite and asked, “Did you get Joshua settled in somewhere?”
“Yup! Sure did. I put Joshua in the tiny house that sits on the line between the wolf pack and the dragon clan. I thought that would be a good experience for him,” Kevin grinned as he ate. He pointed at his plate with his fork and, with a full mouth, said, “This is amazing! Lucy outdid herself tonight.”
