Bethany Emery had worked for the logistics departments of Emery Technologies and Obsidian since she was in high school. She had worked her way up from an unpaid intern to the head of the division. Now, she was in charge of logistics and took pride in handling much of it herself, especially when it involved VIPs.
Today, Bethany was becoming aggravated by the representative for Barnes Forestry, Joshua Banks. She had been working with him since before Ashton arrived to ensure he would have appropriate housing. Since then, the man had called her multiple times each day to request what needed to be in place before Ashton’s father, Callum, arrived. Each one was more ridiculous than the last, and she knew they would not stop when they arrived.
