Lucy and Callum were sitting at the kitchen island. They were eating ice cream from the same carton as they laughed and told stories of their youth. It was the most fun they could remember having in a long time. That came to an end when Devon walked in. His aura was heavy, telling Callum and Lucy that something was wrong.
“We heard the roar. What happened? Is it one of the kids?” Lucy asked.
“It does involve one of the kids,” Devon sighed. “It was Bethany and Joshua. As for alright, I don’t know yet. From what I have been told, they were looking at alternate accommodations. Joshua kissed Bethany when she was not expecting it. She punched him in the face, bolted from the house, and took flight. Everly and Gabby took after Bethany to ensure she was alright.
