When Logan, Olivia, and Kevin entered the kitchen, they found it full of family and Lucy directing each one with their tasks. Ben was helping Alexander and Sophia mix bowls of cookie dough while Darla helped Isla load baking sheets with cookies to go in the oven. Jonah was taking a break to give Hope a bottle.
“Who wants a cookie?” Lucy asked as she gestured to multiple platters on the counter. “We have chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal scotchies with and without chocolate chunks, triple chocolate, oatmeal raisin, coconut, and one that I call everything but the kitchen sink. They have dark chocolate, caramel, pretzels, toffee, and butterscotch chips.”
