Kevin and Logan began the walk to Tyson’s house in silence. Kevin could feel the swirl of conflicting emotions coming from his young cousin. That was understandable, considering what the last couple of weeks had been like for the young man.
“I can’t believe I did that,” Logan mumbled, barely above a whisper.
“It was not your finest moment,” Kevin said with a grin. “But, it was a learning experience. We learned that Everly loves her mate enough to not let him die, and she even kissed him when they landed. We also discovered that your mate can fire some kind of awesome blue balls of light from the palms of her hands that are powerful enough to knock a Dragon Lord for a loop and make him crash. That was pretty cool and very impressive on her part.”
