BETRAYAL

Mia stood in front of them with tears rolling down her cheeks, her whole body was shaking like an earthquake as she yelled at him. "DAve eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!…. how could you do this to me.. we are getting married tomorrow, and you're f*****g my sister a night before our wedding!! What have I done to deserve this? All I did was love you and work very hard for us ", she shouted on top of her lungs while standing near the bed. "Even you!!" , her index finger pointing directly towards her elder sister. "Am done with you and am calling off this wedding" she said as she walked out feeling shattered, broken and betrayed. Dave stood there, his face passive, as he listened to her outburst passively, with the look in his eyes he knew he f****d up.. while Her elder sister couldn't careless. Mia had lots of things going through her head, she has always been a dutiful girlfriend and sister, she has always cared for her elder sister and her boyfriend, but she couldn't care less this time, she was drawing the line this time. She can't keep sacrificing her happiness for the sake of the love she had for Dave and her sister. "I won't do it;, I won't marry Dave, I can't keep suffering, I can't continue dealing with his cheating habit, I am definitely calling off this wedding", she yelled again, sobbing as she walked herself to the bar to cool off and get drunk. Mia saw Andrei already sitting and drinking when she approached the bartender asking for two shots, as he was pouring she was drinking, Andrei could tell she was going through alot, looking at the way she drank, "What could be your problem miss?, he asked looking at her face, she looked at him, wanting to reply, "Arrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhh" she started crying and screaming her lungs out, Andrei didn't know what to do, he stood there looking at her with a confused look. "Pour her more drink" he said to the bartender, "or no wait uhhhhhhmmmmmm".. looking at her so helplessly, he went ahead to tap her back to calm her down, with time she calmed down, they got talking, Andrei realized they've both been betrayed. Andrei had been deceived by the woman he loved, she lied about getting pregnant for him, until he found out she was never pregnant and she had been on pills to avoid pregnancy, despite knowing he wanted a child badly. "Would you mind getting married to me tomorrow??" he asked, she paused for a minute, with a stern look, "is this funny to you" she asked, still looking at him, he wasn't smiling, there she knew he was serious "wait are you serious" "yes I am dead serious, I am going to offer you a contract marriage, you give me an heir and I will give you a luxurious life, that would help you forget all this problem". Still looking at him with a stern look. "You are very crazy, how am I supposed to get married to you, when tomorrow morning is my wedding day?" he smiled and said "the difference is the groom." "uhmmm, Dave cheated on me right, he doesn't even deserve me and I can as well use this as a weapon for revenge", trying to convince herself why she should accept the offer. " soooo…. Let's get married" she said raising her glass with tears flowing down her cheek. She drank and dozed off, her phone rang countless times, he knew it was Dave so he picked it and crazily answered "hey don't call this number ever again, my wife is sleeping" he smiled and hung up. Dave got confused, "wife!!! who in the Gods name is your wife?", "could this be a wrong number, he checked and dialed the number several times to be sure", "f**k am getting married tomorrow and i can't get hold of my wife". Andrei got confused and didn't know who to call, since he doesn't know anything about her or where she stays. So, he took her to his house. On his way home, he called his grandma " hey granny, am getting married tomorrow" he said "Are you drunk again? " The grandmother asked, '' No granny, I am fine and very sober. I had a one night stand a month ago, and now the lady is pregnant for me" he lied to his grandmother. "You mean she is carrying your child" the grandmother asked him while chuckling on the phone "yes granny, I have someone already, at least you will stop fixing blind date and bugging me with different ladies to marry" he replied " Of course! my boyyy, I only wanted you to get married as soon as possible, you know i'm getting old, I need to see my great grandson before I die and perhaps you stopped being interested in women after breaking up with Brenda. I was scared you might stay lonely and single forever, you granny needed to do something." she replied, with so much happiness in her voice. " Well good news, you will see your great grandson soon" Andrei replied "yes!! I am so happy, my boyyy. But tomorrow is so soon, I have to tell my friends you know and ...." Mrs Catherine said "granny.. am doing this because she is carrying my child not because I really like her…. So please don't invite anyone" Andrei said, interrupting grandma from talking… "Don't worry you get to love her" Mrs Catherine replied "The wedding is tomorrow and please don't be late" he said "uh... I can come now if you want me to" grandma replied "no granny, don't come now, come tomorrow morning please" Andrei replied. Mia was already asleep during this conversation, she didn't hear anything at all.. She was so happy and couldn't care less.. She really wanted Andrei to get married and have a child. "Good morning sunshine, is our wedding day!!" he said with a very happy look, like he knew her before. "So here is the contract form for you to read and sign" he said while giving her the contract form. "Just 3 years!!" She asked, "I am going to live in luxury for only 3 years?" she asked again, giving a sad look". "Yes," he answered but "why??" she asked, "because I don't want to fall in love with you nor do I want to get married to you, so I think 3 years is enough for you to give birth and nurture the baby. Don't forget we are both helping each other." he replied with a silly smile on his face. "So you think 3years is not enough to fall in love with me? '' She asked, giving a funny sexy look. "Nahhh, I don't see myself ever falling in love with you or anyone, not with what happened to me in the past ''. "Yeah true I don't think I will ever love again". She replied. "Do you even know my name?" she asked, "yeahh. Mia right" he replied, "how did you know my name, cause I don't remember telling you my name" she asked giving a surprise look, " Well… your fiance kept calling yesterday, so I picked the call, he kept saying, "Mai am sorry". he replied, "and….??" She asked "Nothing, I told him not to call again" he replied "So tell me what's your name?" she asked, "I am Andrei" he replied "But why do you want a child so badly, are you sick? Are you dying soon? She asked, giving a curious look. "Go get dressed, let's get married". "Good morning ma", the housekeeper greeted Mrs Catherine " Good morning dear, how are you doing" Mrs Catherine replied with so much happiness.
