The morning alarm was going off which meant Jake was getting up. Kaylin layed in silent hoping she'd fall back asleep with only fail. She eventually got up as Jake was getting ready to walk out the door.
"Hey, Can I borrow $60 til Saturday when I cash my check?" Kaylin knew what was about to erupt because she had no choice to say no.
"I can't, I don't get paid and I don't have $60 in my account." She was prepared for the back lash.
"Come on, yeah you do! I'll pay you back I swear." Jake said in a panic voice.
She wasn't sure where she was supposed to magically pull money from.
"Jake, I'm not kidding. Look at my account. $34.76 available. I. DO. NOT. HAVE. IT." Kaylin was getting aggravated.
"I'm sorry. If I could, I would" Kaylin added.
Jake was visibly pissed and started shouting screaming at Kaylin.
Without a beat, Kaylin started getting upset.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? You still didn't put money back in my account last week so this was going to happen. I told you.
"Shut the f**k up, All you do is b***h even after everything I do for you."
Kaylin was taken back by that, all he down was make her feel about the size of an ant.
Jake slammed the door without saying a word and sped off. Kaylin sighed, she was used to this she walked to the cabinet to grab and mug to enjoy some morning coffee. At least he made coffee.
She sat at the table, taking small sips trying to relax from the who morning situation.
As soon as Kaylin unlocked her phone, she noticed she saw a few messages.
A couple girls that worked at the store when the bank was located, messaged her saying the local drunk was looking for her.
He was harmless because he was drunk all the time and didn't drive so he always walked everywhere.
She did feel bad for him though.
Kaylin took the last sip of her coffee and went to get ready to take a shower.
Her phone rang. Jake.
She let out sign. "Hello" she said with an irritated tone.
