Mark was the best sniper in his unit and has broken every long shot record in the military. he was in the top of his class in every bracket. His mind was able to understand, strategies and complicated situations with an almost perfect success rate. Mark's mind was on another level compared to 99% of everyone else in the military. When it came to fighting and tactical situations his battle IQ was off the charts. Overwatch do you have eyes on the package? Mark asked over the air, confirmed the package is on time. It should be coming in few now, Confirmed said Mark. I have a visual now, standing by for window and the go ahead. The vehicle pulled up to the front of a motel, the target would visit their mistress. Every Wednesday at the exact same time and place. Two men stepped out the vehicle that was following behind the target. walked up to the back door as 3 more got out the lead vehicle. And started to surveying the surrounding area for threats before they open the door for their boss. after a few seconds the tube on the back door opened it up as the target stepped out of the vehicle. Mark asked? do I have the green light, to take the shot? before he got a reply a rocket hit the vehicle and it exploded with a massive fireball. parts of the vehicle and debris flying everywhere as a mushroom cloud of fire rose up. what the hell is going on Mark yelled into the radio? As a robot walked into view firing bullets into the other vehicles and men. It had a mini gun attached on the top of its arm. Abort abort overwatch yelled to Mark over the air. Mark hurried and picked up anything that could be used as evidence. Then he quickly repel down the side of the building he was on that was under construction. getting into a car as he was driving to the safe house. thinking to himself this AI bots are getting out of hand. He made it back to the safe house without being followed. As he walked in he started yelling what the hell was that, how can a battle bot make it there without nobody seeing it. Who's was it. Jim who was overwatch said I didn't see it before it happened Mark I'm sorry. It looked like it was one of ours but I don't know for sure? I'm trying to get ahold of command now as soon as I know so will you. Jim said with confusion in his voice. Mark said this is a s**t show as he opened the refrigerator, grabbing a cold beer out popping it open taking a big gulp. he sat down on a couch turning the TV on to the News. As a story about what just happened displayed alert breaking news. A battle bot is rampaging in front of the diamond motel, we are unclear on it's motive. No one has come forward claiming responsibility for the attack. just then live on air the camera man turned to the bot. as the journalist spoke. the bot hasn't moved in a few minutes just then you could hear beeping and started to speed up. Then it self-destructed the TV went to black then switched to a news anchor that was inside the news building. we're sorry about that folks we're having technical difficulties but it looks like the bot self-destructant we're not sure if our team is safe that was out there reporting we will let you know as the story develops. Mark turned it off as he laid down thinking about how much everything has changed. Most of the people he went through training with we gone or let go because of ai bots taking over the fighting. I guess I'm oppslilet as well Mark thought to himself. As Jim walked in the room, well it's over we are heading back state side wheels up in a hour. Its features resembled a lizard it was gray with scaly skin. with a humanoid body wearing some type of battle armor. As it started to speak and it's alien language it stopped and pressed a button on its armor. then spoke in every language that was spoken on this planet. we are the reptoids we are here to take your planet's resources. You lower life forms have no chance of stopping us you will all be turned into slaves. Used to mine the resources we have come here for. your technology is thousands of years behind ours here is proof he then pressed another button on a display that was on his wrist. Just then every computer system was hacked all the nuclear weapons were deactivated and locked. as well as every AI and robot around the world all self-destructed simultaneously. I will be sending delegates to each country to set terms for your surrender. then I will return in 2 months to start harvesting the resources from this planet. failure to comply will create an extinction level event as our forces will wipe out every human on this planet. 10 small ships shot out in all different directions to head to each country's leaders as the massive ship went back out of orbit to an even bigger ship that was waiting in the upper atmosphere.
