Chapter Eight The rain moved in and decided to announce the official arrival of spring. On Tuesday, the fourth of April, Elise dashed into the house, the water dripping off her umbrella and coat. Her feet were wet. She’d have to remember to dig her rain boots out of the closet. Piano music filtered from the front sitting room and Elise took a deep breath. Shedding her rain gear, she felt the stress of the day dripping away with the beautiful classical music her grandmother played. Growing up, Suzy had taught piano lessons to most of the youngsters in Echo Ridge at one time or another.
