Chapter Nine Elise had done the best she could to remedy the leak by placing a tarp and buckets and tins under the dripping spots. Then she called around for recommendations for someone to come and look at the damage. She was referred to Redbuilt Construction. It was a new company and the secretary was full of sympathy for Elise’s plight. She promised to send someone over first thing in the morning. Elise went to sleep that night with a prayer in her heart, clinging to the hope she’d felt earlier.
