Vicious clown
Chapter 1
The transfer letter.Crisp and cruel, lay
amidst the wreckage. Royal College.
The name tasted like ash. How dare
they? how dare her parents make such
decision on her behalf without proper consultation.
Lizzy didn't just hate the school, she
viewed it as a gilded mausoleum built over the grave of innocent people.
Every instinct screamed in her chest.
A year ago, Amelia had been murdered on the pristine campus, no death record
was found, not even her corpse and the
official reports, the refined one the damn
school presented to the general public had called it a tragic accident.
Accident!. The word tasted like ash.
Arrrrgh! She roared, kicking the last
intact sculpture a bronze deer her
mother adored off the pedestal.
The crash was deafening, but it was
nothing compared to the silence that had swallowed her grief.
The room was a disaster.
Exactly how her own carefully crafted life felt.
How dare her parents work out this false transfer.
No fighting, Lizzy. Her father's cold
command echoed in her memory.
They wanted her contained.
They wanted her to behave like a well polished Edwards daughter.
Behave? She was going to the school to cause trouble, to fish out her friend's
killer, not a lecture hall.
How was she supposed to survive a day
in the midst of those horrible kids without tearing the place apart.
The burst open. Her younger sister Emily stopped dead on her track. Her eyes
wide with shock.
She wasn't looking at the scattered room.
She was looking at the storm in
Lizzy's face.
Everything seems like a nightmare to Emily.
from the scattered room to the broken chandelier and the angry look on Lizzy's face.
She knew Lizzy hated the school but she never expected her to cause this much havoc.
She walked fully into the room the room felt like war zone.
She placed a reassuring hand on Lizzy's back.
Lizzy calmed, exhale and walked into the dressing room.
She came out minutes later.
Emily's eyes went wide with shock.
She was putting on a blue long flare with long sleeves.
She had on a pair of pink Snickers, a purple face cap and a green handbag.
Let's get going. Lizzy gestured walking with confidence, a satisfied smirk fixed on her face at her sister's reaction.
Emily waited for seconds wondering if her sister has gone but.
Royal College
The sheer sickening volume hit Lizzy the moment her sleek , armored SUV pulled through the parking lot.
This wasn't a school: it was a kingdom.
The air wasn't filled with conversation, but a primal, collective sound of worship.
A wave of deafening screams all aimed at the same person marked the entrance of the school true sovereign king and his three friends.
Princeton stepped out of a black unmarked maybeach, looking less like a student and more like a gangster preparing for a hostile competition.
He was devastatingly handsome, his designer dress and shoes scream luxury, and those glittering blue eyes, the colour of glacial ice swept the scene with outer ownership.
His friends stepped out next earning a thunderous scream from the crowd of students.
A satisfied grin plastered on their face.
He stopped accepting the wave of reverence until his gaze fell upon the only discordant note.
The clown in her crazy yet expensive costume.
His friends traced his gaze and their eyes landed on Lizzy.
They stood frozen on their spot.
She smiled in satisfaction ignoring the numerous eyes that was focused on her.
She brought out her map ready to locate her class.
Princeton walked towards her, an annoying smirk plastered on his perfect face.
Every strides he takes wreck havoc.
The parted as if sliced by an invisible blade.
Every eye in Royal College was on her waiting to capture the first day drama.
His friends lean back on their car obviously waiting for the drama that was about to unfold.
Princeton walked towards her clearly annoyed.
Lizzy stood her ground, fear wasn't in her arsenal mockery was.
A blond, breathtaking girl in an expensive short dress rushed to meet Princeton, obviously his girlfriend.
His focus was entirely on one person,
"Lizzy."
The blonde cling to him like a second layer of skin.
He stopped two feet away.
Close enough to see the mockery in her eyes.
Lizzy look up from her map her eyes glinting in amusement.
Good morning, Your Majesty, she purred dropping into a theatrical bow that flared her ridiculous dress.
He dint return the greeting.
You look ridiculous miss.
His voice was low cutting through the noise like fine glass.
Lizzy straighten her smile wider.
Ridiculous? I thought I matched the pomp, Your Majesty.
I brought a tribute.
The blonde stepped forward clearly annoyed.
You dare not talk to my Man that way. She shot.
Lizzy reached into her oversized pocket
and pull out a fistful of glitter covered banknotes , hundreds of them and toss it directly at their shoes.
The cheap paper scattered over pristine polished shoe.
A king always deserve his tribute, she announced loudly, letting the words carry.
Let's see if this one is bought and paid for, or if he's just priceless.
The crowd gasped. She'd insulted the king and the entire school code of honor in a single move.
Lizzy turned to walk away, satisfied that her first message, I see your bullshit and I'm mocking it was delivered.
But before her second step, Stella (the blonde) hand shot out , not grabbing her arm, but the wrist of her hand, the one that had just thrown the money.
Lizzy smirk.
Stella's grip was firm and absolute.
How dare you insult man? she thundered .
A thunderous slap landed on Lizzy's cheek and the crowd gasp.
She held the cheek in pains.
Lizzy unbuckle the belt that held the gown in place, letting it scattered on the floor.
The crowd watch in anticipation wondering what she was up to.
Do you know why I was kicked out of four different schools? She asked no one in particular.
She answered herself laughing like a maniac.
I'm not just called crazy Lizzy for no reason. She added.
The first lash landed Stella's back, a deafening scream followed.
Then the second, third until beating became uncountable.
Princeton was not left out.
He kept on watching Lizzy with an interesting calm face.
She stop poking the side of her mouth with her tongue.
How I'm I supposed to deal with you when you're so lousy? She asked wailing Stella who stood transfixed on her spot.
Breaking your legs on my first day in school won't be nice, let's leave it for another day.
With that said, she gathered her ridiculous gown like a bride walking down the aisle and stormed off leaving the in sheer silence.
Stella screamed and stormed out in frustration, the murmur increase as Princeton walked out with his three friends.
