This Love after marriage

“No, no, this is not possible” Jane murmured as she just received a message from Luke, her boyfriend. Jane was going through her t****k watching some random videos when a message popped up from her phone. “ I'm sorry I don't think I can do this anymore, let's call it quits”. She stood and walked towards the kitchen to meet Ella. “Ella, you can't believe the message I just received from Luke”. Ella turned to look at Jane and answered “What message?” Jane stretched her hand as she handed over her phone to Ella. Ella gasped in surprise and continued talking “Wow!! This is surprising. “ Did you guys have an issue or something?”. Jane grabbed a cup of water and drank out of it and answered. “Nothing like that happened, I was still with him yesterday and now he is breaking up with me over the phone!!” Ella interrupted and said “That's so stupid of him”. “what are you going to do now?” Ella asked. “ I won't allow this, I'm going over to his place”. Jane answered. Ella moved closer to Jane and held her hand as she continued saying “ No, that's not a good idea. You can't go over to his place”. “And why can't I go to his place?”. Jane asked. “ Because it is not proper, you don't even know what he might do to you”. Ella answered. “ He can't do anything to me. I just have to go see him and then hear the reasons why he wants to end the relationship and that's all”. Jane said as she walked towards the center table to pick up her purse and continued talking. “ You remembered what happened between me and Henry, Right? I wouldn't want the same thing to happen again”. Henry is Jane's first love, they met at college where they started dating. and after college, they were still together. On their sixth anniversary, Jane prepared a very romantic date at her place but to her greatest surprise, rather than receiving a happy anniversary message from her man, She got a breakup message. Jane cried as she was broken on her happy day. She decided to move on with her life but after a few months, Henry came back begging that she was sick and never wanted Jane to be worried which is why he had to break up with Jane so she could continue her life. Jane became angry with herself, she believed her boyfriend was fighting for his life and she didn't have any idea of it, she wasn't there for him when he needed her the most. She accepted Henry back and did everything possible to make up for her actions. After some time she realizes Henry is married, and that he broke up with her to go have his wedding in Paris. Ella murmured in remembrance. “Oh” “And you knew how Luke came through for me. Even though I never loved him at first, I gradually fell for him due to his consistency and caring”. Jane said. “Okay. Give me a call if anything is about to happen.” Ella answered. ********************************************************* Jane got to Luke's apartment, she tried to open the door with her keys when she noticed it was locked from the inside. She rang the bell and someone answered. “Who is there?” a female voice asked as she opened the door. Jane was so shocked that she moved back a bit and checked properly if she was not in the wrong house. “Who are you?” The lady who was wearing a comfy round neck and a bum short asked again. Jane looked at her from head to toe and looked left and right around herself. “ I want to see Luke”. Jane answered. “Baby who is there?”. Asked in Luke's voice. Luke came out with no shirt on but he was just wearing a boxer. He was so shocked to see Jane standing in front of him. He held the hand of the lady standing in front of Jane and said in a stammering voice “What, what are you doing here?” “Baby, do you know her?” Jane chuckled a bit as she murmured silently “Wow! Baby!!”. Luke looked straight at Jane as their eyes met face to face and answered “Babe, can you go in? I will come to join you shortly, I need to sort out some cabbage” Luke slightly closed the door and continued talking “What are you doing here? “ Didn't you get my message or was it so hard for you to digest?” Jane was too stunned to speak, she just stared at Luke and smiled a bit. “ What's funny?” Luke asked Jane curled her lips downwards and her eyes furrowed Indignantly. “Really? You just broke up with me today and now you are already with another woman”. Jane answered. “so?? Should I have sought your permission before having another girlfriend?” Jane moved closer to Luke and whispered into his ear “You are a coward”. “What??” Luke said Jane moved backward a bit as she folded her arms and answered “Yes, you are. this lady has been in the picture the whole time or do you think I don't know?” “ you have to leave now, I have chosen the person I want, so stop disturbing me”. “ You chose that thing over me?” “ You see that thing is better than you. Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately? “You look horrible”. Jane raised her hands as she was about to hit Luke in the face when he held her hand and continued talking. “Don’t you dare try it!!”. Luke said. Jane tried to drag her hand from Luke's palm, but Luke released her hand and pushed her away while he walked inside slamming the door so hard. Jane staggered backward a bit, she held her motion balances properly. She looked around her to see if anybody was watching her because right now this was the most embarrassing moment of her life. Jane's eyes were red, she tried not to cry but she couldn't help it when water started dropping from her eyes. She wiped her tears and said in a shaking voice. “ Girl!! What's wrong with you? “You can't be crying over that scum, Get a grip of yourself and find somewhere to cool”. ********************************************************* Jane slowly walked into the bar. Music filled the place and people were drinking and chatting. She moved towards the bartender and said. “Can I get 25 shots of vodka?” The bartender gasped in surprise and said “25 what???” Jane raised her head, stared into the bartender's eyes, and replied “Make it 30”. She answered and smiled a bit. Jane was on the 10th shot when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw a tall young man standing beside her. She was so angry to notice how he looked, she rolled her eyes and said. “Is there a problem?”. “No”. He answered and smiled a bit and then continued talking “Can I join you?” Jane gave a quick reply and looked away. “No”. He bent to lower his height and whispered to Jane's ears. “ A queen shouldn't be seen sitting alone”. Jane answered without glancing back at him “ I didn't ask for your company”. “C’mon, it is just a harmless drink. I get it that you might not be in a good mood. Let's just drink together and cr ack some jokes”. “At least it will brighten this beautiful face”. “Hun”. Jane rolled her eyes as she breath down deeply and answered “Okay, Fine”.
