Chapter 1
Hannah woke up, yawning and stretching. The sun was sneaking in the sides of the curtains. It was finally summervacation. Gymnasium was over and done. Gymnasium is kind of like high school. In Denmark you have groundschool 0. grade to 9. grade and then gymnasium 1.g to 3.g and then you graduate and get a fancy hat.
Normally you would go to university, or get a job. Not Hannah. She wanted to travel the united states for a month, and get some peace and quiet.
Hannah live in a farmhouse, in Dragør. About 20 min. from Copenhagen. It's an old town, with old houses. She lives with her 3 brothers and parents. Mom is a doctor and her dad is a lawyer. Money is not an issue.
Hannah has long platinblond hair and green/hazel eyes. She's 168 cm. tall, wich is an average female height. Her brothers and dad are all over 2 meters.
She is really beautiful, and all the guys wants a piece.
Hannah sits up in bed an stretches one last time before getting ready to break the travel news to her parents. They're probably not going to think it's as good an idea as she thinks.
"Hey dad" Hannahs dad, John, looks up from the newspaper and smile from ear to ear seeing his precious daughter. "Hi sweety, did you sleep well?" "Yes daddy. Erhm.. I was wondering about what to do this summer, and erhm.." John waited expectantly on his daughter while she worked out how to say it. She just blurted it out, to get it over with "I want to travel the united states for a month".
John looked a little baffled. But then started laughing. "And how in the world are you going to pay, for that honey?" he looked at his daughter warmly, with a big white smile. "Erhm.. You are going to give me the money?" she tried with a small hopefull voice. "Hm.. I have to talk to your mother, then we will talk about it later" Hannah started jumping up and down and hugged and kissed her dad.
She was spoiled. But not a b***h. Her parents always taught their kids right and wrong. Giving to the poor. Not that Denmark has many poor people, mostly the government give people money if they get sick or loose ones job. That's why the taxes are so high. Welfare state.
She started searching after a place to have her little adventure, and soon found the perfect little treehut in Colorado. It was perfect. Surrounded by trees and mountains.
