(Third person’s POV)
“What is the matter, mother?” Shade hit her with the words as soon as he got to the grand hall where she and Gunner stood waiting, “It isn’t even morning yet, and I’m afraid some of us were caught up in far more interesting things than being summoned here.” He winked at Gunner, and it was hilarious, for Rhysette arrived at that same spot, managing to catch the final bits of his sentence. A blush so red coated her cheeks at that, but thankfully, Luna Avery appeared too distraught to notice.
“We have a problem.” The Luna of the Moon Peak Pack and the mother of the Alpha twin heirs stared down at each of them. “Steffan is close. Uncomfortably close.” She announced, the words making Rhysette’s blood freeze in her veins, a fear so cold engulfing her entire body.
