"Jane, you can't even ask how I'm doing, if my wound is healing...you know..." I whined and went back to the bedroom where I had been laying down, watching Netflix, since that was the only thing that kept me busy these days.
Jane snorted, following me into the bedroom, hit not before grabbing a box of chocolate she had seen sitting on the small table, where I had forgotten it. "Whine all you want, princess. You know I'm saying the truth." She tossed a piece of chocolate and closed her eyes, savouring the yummy treat, while I just stared at her, totally amused.
