I woke up to the commotion inside the apartment. I heard Caleb shout at heaven-knows-who, and got up as fast as I could from the bed where I lay. I rushed into the living room just in time to see Caleb leaving with a terrified looking Jane and Abella standing and watching him go out.
“What is going on?” I asked the both of them, looking from one person to the other. Jane just shook her head and didn’t say anything.
“Oh Miss, the boss has just been shot. Caleb has just gone down to bring him inside.” It was Abella who answered me, and before she would finish her sentence, I was racing towards the door as fear gripped me.
“Oh God, no..” I had already reached the door when someone held me back. It was my sister.
