Ranio’s POV
As we sat around the dimly lit inn room, the conversation shifted to the Shadows killer Pack. We needed to find them, fast. Every lead we had so far had slipped through our fingers, and time was running out. Asher’s face was tense, his usual calm demeanor slipping as the weight of the situation pressed down on him.
“We’ve been chasing ghosts; I didn't think the Shadows killer pack existed,” Rex muttered, his frustration evident.
“How can we find a pack that seems no one knows anything about this pack?”
“That’s because they’ve faded into the shadows,” Mira interrupted from her seat across the room, arms crossed as she leaned against the wall.
“No one’s going to tell you anything about them because, as far as most people are concerned, they don’t exist anymore.”
