Lyra’s POV
The men before me bowed low, their eyes filled with reverence, but I couldn’t understand why. I had no clue what had just happened, and my mind was swirling with confusion. My pulse raced as I tried to make sense of the situation. One moment I was fighting for my life, and the next, they were calling me queen.
Before I could demand answers, a figure stepped out of the shadows. His presence was overwhelming, commanding the entire room with ease. It was Nortman. I hadn’t seen him in weeks, but I recognized his face instantly, cold and emotionless. A woman stood beside him, her sharp features and armor making her look every bit the warrior she was. Her gaze was piercing, and though she remained silent, the power she radiated was undeniable.
“What are you doing here?” I demanded
