I was watching the fight one minute and suddenly something red flashed right across my eyes.
I blinked once, twice, then there was a long keening sound in my ears, before everything cleared just as fast as it came.
Including the sudden need to go to her.
Was she even there?
Did I really see her or was it just what I thought it was, a flash?
