Meanwhile, Amira had found an empty building to get in and get some warmth. The building was old and abandoned, but if you ignored the years of neglect, the place was delicate and, at some point, it was a beauty. Amira wondered why the place was abandoned; to Amira, it was obvious that in its glory days the building held power. The entrance was small like a small shed and the remainder of the building was underground, giving it a mysterious look.
As Amira walked deeper into the building she noticed that she could hear many of the city's sounds. How wonderful would it be to revive this place, Amira thought to herself. Amira was oblivious to the fact that her powers had been awakened, and that it had drawn a target on her back if a magical being could sense it. Amira had entered through a shed type of entrance but what she did not know was that the rest of the building could only be found by her. Amira's mother had left a bunker on earth in case she ever needed protection for herself or her loved ones.
Amira had reached an age where she should have been practicing her magic and studying the mythology behind her existence. There was no way for Amira to learn without knowledge of her origins. Amira had stumbled upon the safehouse her mother had set up and that meant that Amira would sooner or later stumble upon the library. Amira had a small chance after all and that small chance could completely change the rest of her life.
Amira spent hours looking around the place. She did not know how long she had been there. She eventually found what looked like an event hall that led to a hallway where she found many rooms. The rooms looked like they had been prepared recently, as if waiting for visitors. Amira wandered deeper into the hallway where she found a room, with the word Genesis on the door. Amira remembered her meeting with Liam when he had lied about being a doctor. She remembered Liam calling her Genesis, she wondered if he had confused her or if he perhaps actually knew her.
