"Run!" That is all Genesis Amir heard in the darkness. Genesis was only five when she was awakened by her mother in the middle of the night. She had no idea what was going on but she knew their lives were about to change. Two weeks prior to the awakening, Genesis had dreamt while awake, as she had explained to her mother. "Genesis, you need to calm down darling." Her mother soothed "Mommy, it was bad. The bad man came and took you away", Genesis cried. "Mommy will be alright darling. You need to tell me what happened." "They came and took you. It was dark and the purple door opened. I was in bed, but it was not my bed; mommy, I don't want to go." "Genesis remembers this; if anyone comes and you find yourself in a different place, you need to remember to say your name is Amira Jensen, please you need to remember." Genesis had promised her mother that she would do as asked, but Genesis knew that her mother was a strong High Priestess with mixed blood, she knew that she would never be hurt. Genesis didn't know that her world was only one dimension and that many others were at war and needed the power of their magic. Her mother's heart was the only one that could give the power needed to win the war. Genesis didn't know any of that because Genesis was a five-year-old child full of innocence and ignorance. There was more to Genesis than a simple smile and charming personality. Genesis was unique and, if discovered, a powerful, priceless weapon. At the present moment, Genesi's mother was being hunted and separated from her daughter. As hard as it was for her, she knew her daughter's only chance was by herself because she knew that she could open a portal to a different dimension where her daughter could grow up and be happy. Clarissa needed to try no matter how much it would slow her down. Clarissa knew that the day was coming and she had prepared for her death because she knew that no matter what happened she could be reunited with her daughter if she was safe. Clarissa had her own secrets and she made sure to keep them safe. She had an exit strategy and she was willing to do anything for Genesis, because Genesis was the only thing that mattered to the world. Genesis noticed a purple bright light and recognised the power from within it was the same as her necklace, it could only mean that her mother was guiding her with her magic. Before Genesis jumped into the light, she heard her mother say... In light, you are saved in fire reborn, this moment you will forget until it is time to come home. With those last words, Genesis was standing in a strange world looking back at her mother. Clarissa blew a kiss to her, closing the portal with her kiss, leaving poor five-year-old Genesis alone in the middle of the day in a strange world. Genesis' head spun around and the world went black.
