Meanwhile, in Leo’s room, Leo went to sleep with the same fears as Amira. He was not always lucid when awake, so he held less fear than Amira. He sent out silent prayers to no God in particular, he just wanted to wake up in the next eight hours instead of the next eight years. Little by little, Leo started closing his eyes. As he drifted to sleep, he could hear a woman singing.
“Hello?” Leo asked.
“Hello Leo,” the woman answered.
“Who are you?” Leo asked. The place was familiar to him, on his comatose estate he often dreamed of that place. Many times he even saw his father. It was like watching him age through his dreams.
“My name is Clarissa.. How are you Leo?”
“Have we met before?”
“No, I have been trying to find you but my dreams were not strong enough to find you.” Clarissa answered in a rush.
“Your dreams? I am dreaming with you.” Leo chuckled.
“Hmm, my sweet Leo,” Clarissa simply answered. “I am sorry I couldn’t wake you up. In my world I am still sleeping.”
“Your world?” Leo asked.
“Yeah, I am not from earth and I am frozen in time, similar to what you call a coma.”
“So I did damage to my brain with all the sleeping.”
“Your brain is not damaged, you are extraordinary.” Clarissa said, smiling sweetly.
Leo stood there in deep thought, he wanted to believe her, but logic told him otherwise. Clarissa patiently waited for Leo to retake the conversation. Leo finally spoke up, deciding to give her the benefit of the doubt.
“Why are you in my dream?” He asked.
“I am not in your dream exactly, we are in the dream realm. You and I are dream travelers and dream eaters. You ate others' dreams, that is how your brain was able to develop instead of being stuck in time.”
“Hmm, say I believe you, why are you talking to me?”
“You are the only one who I can trust in the dream realm. I am looking for my daughter and I can’t reach her. She is far too powerful and she is blocking me.”
“Why is she upset with you?”
“She is not upset, she is just not aware that I am trying to reach out,” Clarissa explained.
If anyone else had questioned her true motives she would have been livid, but Clarissa trusted Leo. She knew him on a personal level, in a way no one else could. Clarissa was Leo’s Creator after all, she had given him all his qualities. Clarissa was not Leo’s mother, she was a demigoddess and she was involved in the creation of twin flames. All twin flames were created by her to complete their counterparts. Soul mates were close to her heart as well, but twin flames were her doing and in all her years creating beings she had never had a favorite. Leo was different. Leo was her first favorite and very special to her.
“Ahem, Miss. Clarissa?”
“Just call me Clarissa dear.” She answered.
“What is your daughter's name?” Leo asked.
“Genesis.” Clarissa answered. “Genesis Amir.”
“Where can I find her?” He asked.
“I believe you already did.” Clarissa answered, but before she could finish talking to him, Leo started fading away.
“Leo,Leo, wake up son,” O’Neil said in a worried voice.
“Dad, what is wrong?” Leo asked.
O’Neill had learned from the night employees that Le had gone to bed at 10:00 pm and it was nearing 10:00 am and no one had been able to wake him up. No one thought much of it. The kid had a rough childhood. O’Neill, however, worried the moment he noticed Leo wouldn’t wake up. He didn’t know if he could one day get over such fear, but he was going to try for his son. O’Neill wondered where Amira was; it had been over 72 hours since he had last seen her awake through security footage. He wanted to make sure she was okay and he also wanted to monitor her sleep. In his mind, her and Leo’s condition were linked.
