Chapter 4

However, fate had other plans. Elara awakened, not in her own body, but in that of Luna Ammy, a powerful Luna who had been chased into the same forest by rebel packs after a brutal attack that claimed her husband. When Elara awoke, she was in Luna Ammy's body and had no idea she was no longer in her original shape. As she considered her surroundings and what to do next, Luna Ammy's army approached her, greeting her with the respect they reserved for their Luna. Elara was perplexed by their odd dress and why they were calling her by a new name. She wondered which pack she had ended herself in. The chief guard extended his hand and offered to take Elara home. Despite her confusion, she agreed and followed them back to their pack. As they approached, the pack members burst into joy, exclaiming, "We found Luna Ammy!" Elara stood there, attempting to make sense of the situation, when Mari, Luna Ammy's maid, approached her. “My Luna. How are you? We have been hunting for you for three days. Thank god you're back. "We can't lose you like we lost Alpha Stone," Mari replied, her voice filled with relief. Elara, dumbfounded, was escorted inside Luna's villa. She was offered a bath, and as she stood in front of the mirror, the truth struck her. It was Luna Ammy's reflection that was staring back at her. She now realized why she had been mistaken for Luna. With risen resolution, Elara, now in Luna Ammy's body, felt a burst of strength and determination. She realised she had been granted a second chance—not merely to live, but to recover her place and reveal the truth. In Luna Ammy's body, Elara resolved to return, confront her past, and seek justice for herself. The forest around her, once a place of death, symbolized rebirth and the start of a new chapter in her life. She also was determined to figure out why Luna Ammy had wound up in the forest before they switched. With a dedication to Luna Ammy's pack, Elara promised to lead them with integrity and compassion until she could solve the riddle and complete her task. She understood she needed to be patient because comprehending Luna Ammy's background and the struggles she had endured would be critical in navigating her new role. Elara felt a strong feeling of purpose when standing in front of the mirror. She would honor Luna Ammy's memory and protect her pack, all while searching for the truth that had brought her to this unexpected fate. As Elara settled into her new life as Luna Ammy, she was treated with reverence and respect by the pack. The transition into her new role was seamless, and she found herself embracing the responsibilities with newfound strength and intelligence. She guided the pack with wisdom, earning the admiration and loyalty of her subjects. After a few weeks of adjusting to her new life, Elara became dizzy and fainted one morning. Mari, her royal maid, was scared and promptly summoned the pack doctor. After a thorough inspection, the doctor verified the surprising news: Elara was pregnant. Mari and the entire pack, including the council and guards, were overjoyed by the news. They saw the pregnancy as a sign of optimism and rejuvenation, demonstrating that their Almighty Luna was truly blessed. They eagerly awaited the birth of the heir who would replace the Alpha they had lost. Meanwhile, Elara experienced a range of feelings. She knew the child she carried was Aiden's, conceived before she was taken into exile and tragically killed by poison. She couldn't help but wonder if the poison had injured her unborn kid, but the doctor told her that it was fine. Elara's eyes welled up with tears of delight as she praised God for this miracle. She saw it as a second chance, not just for herself but also for her kid. She felt a newfound sense of purpose, knowing that she had a mission to complete in her own and her child's life. With the support of Mari and the pack, Elara embraced her pregnancy with hope and determination. She was determined to protect her unborn child and to ensure that they would both have a future filled with love and happiness. Elara's pregnancy advanced, and she found herself surrounded by a mixture of emotions—joy at the belief of becoming a mother, and fear over the difficulties she had faced and those that lay ahead. The pack gathered around her, showering her with care and attention, making sure she had all she needed during this critical time. Mari, in particular, became Elara's steadfast companion and buddy. She kept an observant check on Elara, making sure her health and well-being were top priorities. The council and guards also took on new responsibilities to reduce Elara's stress, allowing her to concentrate exclusively on her pregnancy and her duties as Luna. Despite the warmth and support she got, Elara couldn't shake the unease that persisted in her heart. The memory of her exile and the treachery by those she had trusted troubled her, casting a gloom over her delight. She often found herself staring into the distance, lost in thought, wondering how things had gotten to this point and how she might overcome it. Elara was sitting in her chambers one evening, massaging her big belly as the sun began to drop over the pack lands. Silence remained thick in the air until Mari entered gently. "Luna Ammy(Elara), are you alright?" With a look of concern, Mari asked softly. Elara let out a sigh, feeling a wave of relaxation and fatigue pass through her. "Mari, I'm doing OK. Simply put, thinking." Sitting next to her, Mari nodded. "Hasn't it been quite the journey? You've experienced so much." Elara grinned feebly, the burden of her past bearing down on her. Indeed, it has. I question my strength sometimes—am I capable of handling everything." Mari soothed her, "You are," and put a reassuring hand on Elara's shoulder. You've demonstrated amazing fortitude and tenacity. You're going to have an amazing motherhood." Elara gazed at Mari with gratitude as tears filled her eyes. "I'm grateful, Mari. For everything." The door was knocked on just then. The pack doctor came in with a kind smile. "I have some fantastic news, Luna Ammy(Elara). Your most recent exam reveals that everything is going according to plan. The kid is healthy, as are you." As Elara processed what the doctor had said, relief washed over her. Knowing that she had been granted another opportunity at happiness in spite of her struggles brought her a sense of serenity. Elara was filled with anticipation as she looked forward to the birth of her kid. She was aware that difficulties were ahead, but she was prepared to face them because of her love for her unborn child and the support of her pack. She prayed that this kid would grow up in a world distant from the trials and betrayals of her past, in an environment full of kindness and love. Elara's heart was full of visions of the life she would create for her child—a life of love, harmony, and peace within the pack—as each day went by, and her anticipation only increased. And she clung to the hope that their future would be even more promising as she anticipated the birth of her child.
