Isla was holding onto Johanne’s hand while they were waiting for the result of their fertility test. They were both quiet but Johanne was more worried at what his wife would feel after the result came out.
He was already thinking of what to do just in case it doesn’t turn out as they were expecting. He looked at Isla and she smiled at him.
He was about to say something when the door opened and their doctor came in. She sat down and smiled at them.
“Mr. and Mrs. Delacroix, I’m glad to let you know that you are both healthy, which means there are no health issues that could cause you not to have a baby,” the doctor smiled.
Isla smiled and felt her tears form in her eyes. Johanne smiled and kissed Isla’s hand.
