Victoria was watching Isla and Johanne dancing at the newly opened bar of their cousin Hannah. She smiled, seeing how happy her stepbrother was. Just a few years back she was still confused about what she felt towards him and now it was all because she wanted to protect him from their uncle.
If there is anyone that is the happiest to see her brother taking over the responsibility at the same time as being a responsible husband to Isla, that would be her.
She was surprised when a kisser pecked her cheek, she turned and Kai was smiling at her, “c’mon let’s dance!”
She snorted, “I don’t dance… Did you forget about my legs?”
“Babe, your legs have been fully functional in so many ways…” Kai leaned closer and wrapped one of her arms in Victoria’s shoulders.
