As soon as they got to the mansion, Isla went straight to their room and saw Julien’s nanny had just got out of her son’s room.
Isla smiled at her, “is he still awake?”
“He just fell asleep, ma’am. I’ll take my leave now.” The nanny smiled at her and at Johanne when she saw him.
Isla went inside their room and saw Julien sleeping quietly. She rubbed his hand on her baby’s legs and smiled. Johanne stood behind her and rubbed Isla’s back.
“He looks so cute when he sleeps on his side. His cheeks are squeezed!” Isla chuckled, making Johanne smile.
“I’m still glad that we just got him out of the orphanage in time for his third birthday. Even if this is not his first or second birthday, I still want it to be the happiest for him,” Isla held Julien's small hand.
