He is my boss

Rujin heard someone faintly calling out to her, she scrunched at the bright light that was sipping through her closed eyelids as she tried opening her eyes groggily.

"Where am I?" Rujin utters in a low and hoarse voice as she looked around, trying to make sense of her surrounding.

"You are in hospital, You had met an accident" The nurse replied from the door.

"Are you okay? Does your head hurt?" The nurse asked. "Hold on, I will call your boyfriend" The nurse added picking up her phone.

"Boyfriend...What?" Rujin looked around the room again, from the king sized bed which she was lying on to the huge plat screen TV hunger on the white walls.

"Wait!" Rujin said hastily. "I am fine. Who bought me here?" Rujin asked.

"Your boyfriend! Don't worry. I am your attending nurse" The nurse replied.

"Boyfriend...The car owner..Who?" Rujin squinted her eyes trying to grasp the situation. "Whatever! She have to go home quickly" Rujin thought as she climbed down from the bed.

"Miss, What are you doing?" The nurse asked with puzzled expression.

"Going home" Rujin replied.

"You can't leave" The nurse held her arms. "Why? I am fine" Rujin replied. She turned her head to look around for her phone.

"I don't think that's a good idea. Your boyfriend will get worried" The nurse said.

Rujin heaves a long deep breath before turning to the nurse, "Who the hell is my boyfriend?" Her eyes stopped at the man stood near the door.

The man dressed in a brown Retro suit, looking handsome and distinguished. "You can go now" The man ordered the nurse as he forward his steps.

"Are you the one who bought me here?" Rujin asked.

"Mmm" The man nodded his head lightly. "My name is Kang Yedam. Are you okay?" Yedam introduced and asked, though he was worried his face was as expressionless as ever. One wouldn't know if he was truly concerned or not.

"Yes, I am fine. So, you are the one hit me" Rujin asked him, her gaze at him was piercing and desperate.

"I didn't hit you. You are the one who walked straight in the road" Yedam replied nonchalantly.

"What is this man?" Rujin grumbled in her head. She eye at him irriratedly, without responding to him.

"Your Phone" Yedam said handing her phone to her. In that moment the door has opened by a lady with a worried expression written all over her face.

" Hey! Shin Rujin What the....." She trailed off her words when she saw the familiar man stood inside.

"Hello Sir, How come you... "Sir, I am the one who picked up her phone. She's my cousin younger sister" Yewon greeted the man politely while Rujin gave a meaningful look at her Yewon.

Yedam nodded his lightly before he turned to Rujin who was still sitting on the side of the bed. "As your family member also arrived, Can we settled now?"

"What does that mean?" Rujin asked in confused tone. Yewon took steps towards Rujin and wrapped her arms around her sister shoulders. "Rujin, you scared me, Are you good now?" Yewon mumbled.

"Yes, I am fine" Rujin mumbled back.

"Yedam wiped out his phone from his pocket. Miss, please follow my words, "I had met an an unfortunate accident but the other person Yedam, bought me in hospital and treated me. We are even now. so, I won't bother him again related to today's incident."

"What....?" Rujin was puzzled with the various expressions flashing through her face.

"Please record it" Rujin stated pressing the record button.

"Are you...serious? Didn't you....You are the one who hit me. What if i had died huh?" Rujin eye him amusedly.

"Hey!" Yewon lightly pinched Rujin right arm.

"Why Unnie? How can he be so rude and narrow minded?" Rujin narrowed her eyes as she glared at Yedam.

"Okay! Let's talk nicely" Yewon convinced Rujin.

Yedam peered quietly at her face for a while and said in serious tone, "Let's settle quietly"

"With all due respect Mister, you shouldn't say to someone like that whom you hit by your car" Rujin spoke in an acid tone.

"Then, let's go by law....."

"Sorry Sir!" Yewon interjected him. "My cousin sister was little bit short tempered. As you said, let's settled quietly" Yewon pleaded.

Yewon leaned more to Rujin and said lowering her voice, "Rujin, He is my boss, so behave"

"What if he is your boss?" Rujin answered back gritting her teeth. Rujin heaves an annoying sigh before she snatched his phone from Yedam hand.

"I, Shin Rujin will never bother this guy Kang Yedam again related to today's incident"

"Are you satisfied now?" Rujin said in mocking tone. The fire burning in her eyes was enough to torch the house down, him included.

"Let's go!" Rujin said and walked out without glancing at Yedam.

"Sorry Sir and thank you for bringing her in hospital" Yewon bowed down before she followed Rujin.

"I really can't stand a rude guy like him" Rujin snorted as she took off her shoes.

"Maybe he was just worried that someone might took advantage of him, afterall he is the director of the big company" Yewon said as she made her way to the kitchen to get a glass of water from the refrigerator.

"Unnie, Are you close with him?" Rujin asked as she took a seat.

"No, He is the type of person whom we can get close. He is in the position that we can't reach with our hands" Yewon answered in serious voice.

"What's he is so great about?" Rujin rolled her eyes.

"But Rujin..." Yewon paused for a while staring at her deeply.

"Why...?" Rujin asked flatly.

"I totally forget to tell you, You got selected for the job you interviewed in your company" Yewon informed with a huge smile.

"What ...Are you serious?" Rujin jumped from her seat in suprised.
